I have worked in other fields and always find myself coming back to pediatrics. My last professional job before school was working for Westfield Headstart. I absolutely loved the opportunity and was heartbroken to leave the job for college. I have experience working with children from 8 weeks old through 10 years old, extensive twin infant experience and experience with special needs children (adhd, asd). I am trained in medicine administration, CPR and firstaid and transport kids frequently from school to home or to sports. The thing I love most about being a nanny/sitter is the personal relationships with the families, getting to watch the kids grow and communicating with parents about goals and working towards them.

I am currently a junior majoring in communication sciences and disorders and studying to be a speech pathologist. I studied early childcare at my vocational high school. There, I volunteered at an elementary school working in kindergarten classrooms and then proceeded to start at the daycare I currently work at. At this daycare I am a certified preschool teacher working with children aged 2.9-5 years old. More recently, I also gained some experience and become certified to work with infant/toddler age group.
