I hold a degree in Child Development and Early Childhood Education and have extensive experience working with children. From 2009 to 2019, I taught preschool-aged children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities and personalized care. In 2019 and 2021, I worked as a Head Camp Counselor at a Girl Scout Camp, where I planned and led programs to create a fun and enriching environment. In 2022, I was promoted to Program Manager at the camp, further expanding my leadership and organizational skills. Additionally, I have hands-on experience as a nanny for two children, ages 2 and 4, and babysat for a family with a toddler from 2022 until the end of January. My responsibilities include preparing simple meals, assisting with potty training, and keeping the child engaged through indoor and outdoor activities. During the spring I babysat a one year old a few times. This summer I have been babysitting a six and ten year old. I also babysat 20 month year old twins a few times recently.
