My name is Amanda, and caring for children and constantly learning about development, learning techniques, and being the best version of myself are at the top of the list of my passions! Background: Born and raised on Cape Cod, MA. Bachelor's in baking & pastry and management(2010) Early Childhood Development Certification(2016) Former daycare owner. My career has always looped back around to working with children, and I couldn't be more happy about that. I've been with my current family for over 2 years now, and I can honestly say they would agree I'm part of the family now. With their mother being a pediatrician, I have learned an immense amount from her, and the families 2 girls that have become my best friends. My creativity spark exploded these past 2 years, and cardboard and a glue gun have become such a fun part of their learning(honestly!). Older girl was reading just before 3 years old and is now at 3rd grade level at the age of 4, and the younger one who just turned 3(Feb of 2023) is on the cusp of reading. I only share that because ive truly seen the potential in children and how dedication and consistently can make their learning beautifully bloom. (I understand every child learns at different paces, and I never ever push learning when a child isn't ready). I love cooking and baking for the family, and it's also a great opportunity to do with kids! I actually love cleaning and it's a weird therapy for me, so organizing, laundry, dishes, etc are never an issue. I really want to find a family I can grow with in the next years, and one that is willing to learn from me and vice versa. I can't say enough how much it fills my heart to work with infants, toddlers, and children. I hope to hear from you.

Hello! I'm Ebby, and I live in the Hingham Shipyard with my husband and golden retriever. I work remotely full-time in marketing for a B2B tech company, but I love kids, so until I have my own, I'm happy to do some babysitting part-time :) I graduated from college one year early in 2018 from College of Charleston with a B.A. in English and have been working full-time in marketing since then. I have babysat for children ages 6 months to 12 years. I have been a morning sitter, after-school sitter, date night sitter, and have even done overnight stays with the kids. I am comfortable helping with homework, doing art projects, playing outside, taking kids to activities, assisting with meal prep, bedtime/wake up routines, playing indoor games/with toys, and helping parents with grocery shopping, etc. I am also comfortable with pets, as I have a dog of my own, and my family consistently had dogs and cats growing up. I have two younger twin siblings, so growing up, I was often responsible for them when my parents were away. I was a camp counselor at the YWCA for two years, where I supervised and entertained kids from ages 5-12. I have 3 years of tutoring experience and have volunteered my time helping 5th-grade students with homework during an after-school program called Project Reach. I worked at a public library for 6 years, and during my time there, I was often staffing the Children's department. I helped at programs, assisted kids with requests, and taught them about the library. I signed up for Sittercity in 2018 because I love spending time with kids and getting to know them. I'm a fun and responsible role model, and it makes me so happy to know I could be having a positive impact on kids' lives. I look forward to meeting you!

I’m Brazilian and I’m 28 years old. I have over 9 years of childcare experience, including 5 years in Brazil and more than 4 years in the United States. During my most recent position, where I worked with the same family for almost three years, I gained extensive hands-on experience in child development and daily routines. I also had the opportunity to teach the children Portuguese as a second language, helping them learn and feel comfortable communicating in another language from an early age. I am a caring, patient, and affectionate nanny who truly enjoys working with children. I like to engage them in educational and fun activities, including indoor and outdoor play, creative games, reading, and age-appropriate learning activities. I speak Portuguese fluently and have basic Spanish skills. I am comfortable with pets and have great references. I am CPR/First Aid/AED certified, fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and I have my own car with reliable transportation. I currently live in Weymouth, MA, and I am available to work Monday through Saturday. Feel free to message me if you have any questions — I would be happy to talk!

Mirelle has been watching my now 17-month-old as our full-time nanny for the past 7 months. She has been amazing with him, expanding the activities she does with him each day to grow along with his development/capability level. She is very nurturing, incredibly easy to work with, takes feedback well, and understands his needs and how to read him. She is an amazing cook, will prepare dinners for the whole family that are also age appropriate for our son, and will also do other housework as required/requested. She has been such an easy person to welcome into our home and we're looking forward to continuing to work with her!

I have recently retired from managing a pediatric practice for 27 years consisting of 3 pediatricians, 1 Nurse Practitioner and 13 support staffers. Currently, I work per-diem as a Medical Assistant at South Shore Health's Health Express locations. I have 2 grown children of my own that I raised as a single parent. I have no grandchildren but have 2 wonderful stepchildren 7 and 9 years old that I love to spend time with. I teach a 3rd grade CCD class at St Christine's Parish in Marshfield and have a class of 13, including 8 boys and 5 girls along with 1 autistic student. I am looking to help a young family with daycare, cooking and activities. I understand the struggles of trying to work and maintain a house with young children all too well. I am dependable, loving, and trustworthy.

Hello, my name is Lauren! I am 29 years old. A little bit about myself. I work as a Specialized Paraprofessional in the school districts. I help special needs students, and care for their physical, emotional health and safety, affirming their abilities, and striving to promote dignity in all relationships. I am a graduate from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles with a bachelor’s in Health and Human Sciences and a Minor in Dance and Liberal Arts. I am in the process of pursuing graduate school for Occupational Therapy. A huge passion of mine is dancing. I have been dancing all of my life since the young age of three, which has taught me how to be dedicated, committed and passionate about something. Growing up, my Grandmother was the “nanny of the town.” I was always surrounded by kids when I was at her house. Watching my grandmother care and love for the children she watched instilled a natural care and love in my heart to want to do just as she did. I have been a babysitter/nanny for many years. I have had the pleasure of working for families who have had newborns to teens. I also have experience with watching and caring for children with special needs. I am an upbeat friendly person that will work hard to make sure that the children and parents are happy with my performance.

I am a caring and dependable House Manager who loves creating a home environment where everything feels calm, comfortable, and well-organized. I take a hands-on, thoughtful approach to supporting the households I manage—whether that means coordinating schedules, helping with daily routines, or making sure the home runs smoothly behind the scenes. Building trust and strong communication is important to me, and I’m always looking for ways to anticipate needs and make life a little easier for the families I work with. I take pride in bringing warmth, consistency, and a positive spirit to every home I care for.
