Born in Mexico City, grew up in the US.  Lived in CA, FL, ID, MD,ME & MA where I finished College with a double Major in Elementary Education & Psychology, in 1994. I have extensive experience with infants, even twins, and I'm a former high school/middle school teacher, so I have experience with older kids, too. My education experience has made me especially adept at interesting kids in outdoor and non-screen activities. Both my grad and undergrad degrees were in English, and I've taught English, ESL (English as a Second Language), and Spanish. I enjoy tutoring and am willing to help children with homework if desired. Currently a Special Ed teaching assistant, I do have some experience with children with special needs though am not certified. I am willing to provide care for children with special needs when parents feel I'm a good fit for their child. After having my own two children I realized how working with kids was my calling and passion! I am one of eight children myself and helped take care of my older sisters children as well as my younger sister who had Downs Syndrome. This experience has prepared me for a lifetime of teaching, patience, and caring for children on a daily basis. Although my education is a bachelor’s in business management I first started going to school to be a teacher.
