We were in a nnanyshare with in 2023 -- she took care of our son and another baby boy who were both around 10 months old at the time. She was with us for about a year. Iris was always on time and attentive. She communicates well and repsonds quickly via text message. She truly adores babies and each morning she would arrive and setup an engaging play space for the boys. Iris did a great job of keeping the boys on an age appropriate nap schedule as well as taking them out in a double stroller for walks around the neighborhood and to local playgrounds and parks. She was respectful of our homes and always took time to clean up the toys and kitchen after meals. I highly recommend Iris.

With 10 years of experience in child care, I am all about ensuring a fun, safe and warm environment. I am very creative whether it is with teaching, activities, games, arts and crafts. I love creating long lasting relationships with the kids and families. I treat every child like they’re my own. I’ve had previous experience nannying twins starting with the family when they were 3 months old and now they are almost 5 years old, which I occasionally babysit. My recent experience includes school/daycare drop off. Including wake up, packing lunch, making breakfast, dropping off, etc. Watching kids grow and being a part of their growth is so special to me!

Hello, my name is Reuben. I'm 55 years old, semi retired, and have a lot of experience raising and looking after children. I was a school teacher for 27 years and have two kids of my own (teens now) that go to Sharon, MA, public schools. I used to work at the same school they attended, they didn't like that much, but I was able to keep an eye on them, haha I grew up and received my higher education in Canada with much of my teaching experience being overseas in Japan, South Korea, and China (BA in English, MS in Educational Leadership). I have fond memories of my time living there in different cultures and had to wear a lot of different hats to adapt to educational philosophies - not to mention overcoming language barriers! I have a wealth of experience teaching in the classroom, supervising students during class time (and while they were on breaks), led seasonal camps for students of all ages and worked well with others, but often took intuitive to do things myself. I like making connections with youngsters and find one of the best ways to do that is to partake in activities they enjoy doing or getting to know them better on a personal level for conversation topics etc... I often took part in various school club activities and even coached soccer one year. We didn't have a winning record, but the connections I made on the field of play paid huge dividends in the classroom (led to much more participation during academic times from the soccer players in the classroom). I find myself with a lot more free time these days and would like to put my experience to good use. The best way to describe myself is that I'm punctual, diligent and humorous, at least I try to be, haha I find humor goes along way in making for a comfortable environment, but I'm not afraid to draw the line when seriousness on a matter is necessary. I always try to be as easy going as possible, flexible and attentive to what work needs to be done for the day. I'm a non-smoker, vaccinated, and fine around any kind of pet. I have my own car for transportation purposes and I'm perfectly fine to have extra responsibilities, such as cleaning up or taking care of a pet, if that makes your life easier! I'm also CPR certified. I hope to hear from you, don't hesitate to reach out if you're interested in having a conversation and we can explore possibilities. Sincerely, Reuben :)

Hi there! I'd love to help out your family with my exceptional childcare services. With years of experience as a tutor and behavioral therapist working with both neurotypical and neurodivergent kids, my goal is to give your child the best care possible! Every kid I work with is like family to me, I'd love to get to know your family and get the chance to work with you. I'm a big proponent of art being a crucial element to a child's development, I incorporate arts and crafts into my work to help work on your kiddo's fine motor and coordination skills as well as to give them a fun creative outlet. I also maintain my BCAT (board certified autism technician) certification and stay up to date with new research into developmental disabilities, special needs care is my passion! I like working with kids because they're so creative and innovative! Some of the best life lessons are the ones you can learn from kids.
