Hi! I'm Karen. I am a devoted and loving mom of two young adults. As a former foster parent for the state of Maryland, I have cared for children of all ages and am CPR certified and first aid trained through the Red Cross. I have experience caring for children who have autism, ADHD and other disabilities. In addition to raising my own children and fostering, I acquired childcare experience through babysitting for family, friends and neighbors, previously working at a daycare center, leading classroom lessons and activities at my church and also substitute teaching elementary age students. Watching children learn and grow through engaging interaction is fulfilling and enjoyable to me. I like to occupy children with craft activities, art projects, games and puzzles, outdoor play, cooking lessons...anything that limits screen time and encourages imagination and creativity. I believe that some down time is also important. For that purpose, book reading, puppet shows, cloud shape guessing and wildlife watching would be some of my possible choices. There's surely no lack of things I could come up with to keep children busy, but the number one reason to choose me to be your caregiver is this...I love kids! They make life fun! I really enjoy teaching them and then watching them progress through their many stages of childhood. You can expect that I will treat your child/children with respect and I will nurture and care for them as if they were my own.

Karen was perfect for us. Karen was always right there for us. The boys just love her and the boys never seemed to tire of trying to show off for her. It is hard to think that we could find a better sitter than Karen.

Hello! My name is Tiffany. I am a forty-year-old military spouse. I recently moved to Bel Air. I have three children; a twenty-five year old daughter, a fifteen-year-old son, and an ten-year-old son. I am a registered nurse. I am certified in Pediatric & Adult CPR, First Aid, and Basic Life Support. I have been providing care for children since I was twelve years old. I would provide care for a lot of my neighbors, friends, family, and friends of my family members. They would refer me to anyone they knew who was looking for childcare. Since my husband has been in the military, we have lived in Tampa for four years, Hawaii for four years, Texas for one year, Washington state for two years and now back in Maryland. While residing at these locations, I have provided care for a few of the military families that I had the pleasure of meeting. I provide care in my home because it allows me to be available for my children as well if there are any changes with school or if they need to stay home. However, I am open to possibly providing care in your home depending on the day, time, and situation. We can discuss if that would be an option. My house is very safe and child-friendly with plenty of toys and age-appropriate activities to keep your children entertained. I like to incorporate learning into play to make learning fun and can provide homework help. If you're interested, please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I look forward to working with you to see if I can help meet all of you and your family's needs. Thank you for your time and have a blessed day!

Hello! My name is Veronica, and I am excited about the opportunity to provide dependable, compassionate childcare for your family. I bring a wealth of experience and unique skills to the table: Bilingual: I speak both English and Spanish, which allows me to engage and communicate with children in either language. Family Care Experience: As an older sister to an autistic brother, I have firsthand experience caring for children, including those with special needs. This has taught me patience, understanding, and the ability to adapt to different situations. Pet-Friendly: I am a dog owner, so I am comfortable around pets and happy to assist with their care if needed. Household Skills: Having lived independently for some time, I am capable of handling basic house chores such as cooking, cleaning, vacuuming, and more. Transportation: I have my own reliable car, making transportation convenient and ensuring punctuality. Flexible and Accommodating: As a college student, I am willing to work with parents to create a schedule that fits their needs. I am passionate about creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children while helping families with the support they need. I look forward to the possibility of working with you!

We’ve been very happy with Iqra as our after-school sitter for our 5-year-old son. She’s dependable, always arrives on time, and communicates clearly and promptly with us. What we appreciate most is how genuinely engaged she is with our son—she plays with him, encourages his imagination, and keeps him happily active after a long day of school. He looks forward to seeing her, which says a lot! We feel confident and comfortable knowing he’s in such good hands. Highly recommend.

Tracy has babysat my 3 children (ages 6, 2, and a baby) several time now and we are so thankful we found her! Since we usally live close to family, I had never hired a sitter before so I was a bit uneasy at first. Tracy put all my worries at ease! After the 1st time, my kids were asking when she could come back. Our 2 year old is quite the firecracker and a baby of course requires even more care but we have always felt very confident that Tracy could handle them. There have been times when I have texted her to see if we could return later than our original expected time (having too much fun w/ the hubby!) and that has never been a problem, she's always been happy to stay later. I asked if she could babysit once with only a 2 day notice and it was not a problem. She's sweet, responsible, trustworthy, knowledgable, a mom, and is very understanding...what more could you ask for? We'll be sad to lose her once we move back home!!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Angie to care for our baby and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. From the very beginning, Angie was the epitome of professionalism—always punctual, organized, and prepared for each day with a warm smile and positive attitude. Her attention to detail and dedication to maintaining a clean, safe environment gave us tremendous peace of mind. Whether it was keeping toys organized, tidying up after meals, or maintaining an overall sense of order, Angie was incredibly helpful. Beyond her professionalism, she showed deep attentiveness and a genuine love for children. Angie was always highly communicative, keeping us updated throughout the day with thoughtful notes and observations. She truly listened to and understood our child’s needs, responding with incredible care and patience. Our child absolutely adores her, and it’s easy to see why. Her combination of reliability, warmth, and skill is truly rare. We feel so lucky to have had her in our lives and wholeheartedly recommend Angie to any family looking for exceptional childcare.

I'm an experienced babysitter with 9 years of working with children from infancy through age 13. I started as a mother's helper at 12, began babysitting at 14, and have been a private nanny for the past 7 years. I previously worked as a daycare assistant caring for groups of 6-10 children ages 3-11, supporting their social skills, manners, problem-solving, and positive interactions. I spent 8 years as a dance teacher, helping kids build confidence and creativity. I am First Aid and CPR certified through my prior cadet training. I love keeping kids engaged with age-appropriate crafts, outdoor play, games, baking, and doing fun outings like going to the zoo, museum, aquarium, park etc. I also have experience with private in-home meal prep and private house cleaning. I'm currently working toward my postpartum doula and perinatal nutrition certifications and love supporting families in meaningful, hands-on ways.
