Hello dear Parents: I am seeking full time or part-time position. Also, I am available on weekends or as needed. For the last 7 years I have been caring little ones from infants to pre-kindergarteners and elementary kids. I also enjoyed thoroughly working with first time parents caring for little bundles of joy. My last experiences are 15 weeks and 4 and 2-months old babies and now are years old or in preschool. My duties as a nanny are to feed (I can prepare food from scratch) their bottles of formula or breastmilk, change diapers, put them for naps, sleep training. I also play with the baby's toys to encourage them to grasp their toys and mentioning to them the colors, names, and sounds to promote cognitive development. I also put babies in tummy time so that their neck muscles get stronger day by day for later to roll over, sit up, and crawl. I have prepared healthy meals, and I am very organized and like to be active with the kids. I also help them to get ready for bed and wait until parents arrive from work. I currently have Child Development Certification, SIDS, CPR and AED certified as well. Thanks for reading my profile. Ysabel

Ysabel was an amazing sitter for my newborn baby girl. She was attentive and interactive in keeping my baby entertained, had great communication skills, and accommodated my schedule. I will continue to use her down the line.

Greetings! I am a mom of three older children and I absolutely love children of all ages !! I have been a babysitter, nanny, tutor and a Pre-school teacher. I am certified to teach children Newborn - Kindergarten as well as CPR&First Aid certified(infants-adults). I have a Master’s degree in a discipline outside of childcare. I’ve been in childcare for 20+ years and I truly miss the children & families on a day-to-day basis from my classroom and full-time nanny days. I’m open to cooking for the children, taking them to&from activities, caring for them overnight as well as coming as a travel nanny (once we’re all comfortable) and walks outside/outdoor play, etc.- I’m flexible on activities you may select. I am more than willing to get an additional background check or more training if it’s required. I am familiar with and able to do a nanny share as well. I am vaccinated and have a great driving record. I’m excitedly seeking a full-time nanny position. For group/party inquiries, kindly contact elitechildcare.ecs@gmail.com.

My name is Carla Kooij and I currently babysit for date-nights or on the weekends. I've been babysitting since 2010. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Goucher College, and am certified in First Aid and CPR for infants, children and adults. I enjoy caring for children of all ages, and I have babysat for many families, military and non-military, and/or families who come to town for a wedding or event, and I've stayed at the hotel with their children while they are at the event. I prepare meals for children, do light housekeeping, help with homework, read children stories, supervise bedtime routines, help with bathroom activities (toilet, brushing teeth, bathing). I love playing games with children too, inside or out. I have babysat up to four children at a time from 2 months to 17 years old although now I prefer one to two children to watch. I’m a U.S. citizen and live in Alexandria, VA. I'm trustworthy, dependable, friendly and kind.

Carla was so sweet and nice! She was on time and even brought her puppet collection for our son to play with; which he just loved. She sent us pictures of him while we were out and was just a delight to have as our sitter. We would definitely recommend Carla for any of your sitter needs!

Hello! My name is Patricia, I live in Waldorf, Md. I would love a part time job where I can enjoy caring for your child. I taught children ages 2-13 art and worked in a community center in Northern Virginia. Where several mandatory public safety training courses such as CPR/First Aid were given. I love to enjoy the laughter, and youth of children, learning and sharing!

I am an experienced babysitter with over 10 years of babysitting experience. Caring for ages newborn to preteens. I have been working part time as a substitute teacher at Safe Haven Babies LLC Day Care in Upper Marlboro Maryland for two years. Per the state of Maryland, I’ve had a background check completed. I have also trained and gotten certified in CPR/First Aid for Adults and Pediatric. During the pandemic I had the opportunity to tutor and help kids while they participated in virtual learning. For a short period of time, I also had the chance to assist as a volunteer at an Assisted living facility. I do light house keeping, along with cooking and can run necessary errands. I have reliable transportation. What I look forward to the most is helping out parents when they need an extra hand or simply needing a break from their everyday parenting life. For my pet lovers, I have experience with caring for household pets. I hope to eventually become bilingual and learn American Sign Language.

Tia has been such a blessing to our family — excellent communication skills and loving caretaker to little ones. She engages in age appropriate play and not only develops a relationship with the children, but the parents as well. We consider her an extension of our family and highly recommend her to any family in need of care.

We had the pleasure of meeting Shelene in person while interviewing candidates for our daughter’s nanny. During that process, she also spent an afternoon caring for our daughter, which gave us the chance to see her professionalism and attentiveness firsthand. She was extremely professional, well spoken, and clearly deeply cares about the work she does. Her nursing background came through strongly in the thoughtful questions she asked about our daughter’s needs, and it was obvious that she is highly qualified and would make an outstanding nanny. Although we ultimately did not move forward with Shelene, that decision had nothing to do with her qualifications, and we were more than confident that she would have been an amazing fit for our family. We would absolutely consider working with her in the future and would feel very confident recommending her to other families.

Hi! My name is Diamond, and I am 21 years old with over 3 years of experience working with children. Working with children is truly my passion, and I take pride in creating a safe, loving, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and flourish. I have experience as a Lead Preschool Teacher in a Two’s classroom, where I planned and provided fun, age-appropriate, and stimulating activities, supported children through developmental milestones, assisted with potty training, managed classroom routines, and prioritized the safety and well-being of every child in my care. I am CPR, First Aid certified, and Maryland State Preschool Qualified. I also attended the College of Southern Maryland, where I studied Early Childhood Development. Before becoming a preschool teacher, I worked as a nanny for a family whose child was 7 months old when I began caring for him, and I have continued caring for him as he has grown into a flourishing 3-year-old. This experience has given me hands-on experience with infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, play, developmental activities, routines, educational support, and providing individualized care. I have experience with many children that have disabilities and learning challenges such ASD, Anxiety, OCD, ADHD , and more. I am also a mother to a sweet infant son who would need to accompany me while I work. He absolutely loves being around other babies and children, and I believe being around other little ones can be a wonderful opportunity for socialization and learning for him as well. I am very comfortable caring for multiple children at once and have experience caring for multiple infants and young children simultaneously. I also occasionally offer weekend babysitting, both in-home and out-of-home, depending on the family’s needs. I can provide multiple references from families and children I have taught, cared for, and nurtured. I am dependable, patient, attentive, and passionate about helping children feel safe, loved, confident, and excited to learn. I would love the opportunity to care for your little one and become someone your family can trust. My goal is not only to provide reliable childcare, but to help your child learn, develop, and flourish beautifully!
