Greeting Families, I am passionate about children. I am caring, energetic, diligent, and a dedicated person. I graduated with an degree in Early Childhood Development. I have come to the realization that every child is created in their own unique way. I have experience of caring for children over night, and overnight infant nursing care. The ranges of children that I have cared for is from newborn to high school. I come from a large family, so I know what it means to multitask and get the job done! I also have reliable transportation, and do not mind being around pets. Over the years, I have taught in a private school (kindergarten, first grade, second grade). I hope to provide you and your family care soon!

Bonjour! I’m a proud St. Lucian with a big heart and a passion for babysitting that blossomed when I was just 11 years old. Growing up, I helped raise my three younger siblings, who were born more than a decade after me. Those early experiences taught me patience, empathy, and how to guide little ones through every stage. From first steps to singing/sporty personalities. Watching them grow into their own identities lit a fire in me to support other children in the same way. Over the years, I’ve continued to babysit younger cousins and family friends, giving me hands-on experience with kids of various ages whenever I have time with my technical wiritng positon. I naturally gravitate toward creating a nurturing, positive environment where children feel safe, heard, and empowered. I'm especially proud of teaching manners in fun, memorable ways, and I bring calm energy and warm encouragement to every interaction. Whether we’re playing games, learning something new, or just having silly moments, I’m there with love, laughter, and genuine care.

Hi, I’m Amanda! I’m a former special education teacher with over six years of classroom experience, and caring for children has always been more than a job for me, it’s something I truly love. Today, I focus on providing thoughtful, one‑on‑one support as a babysitter and tutor, helping children feel safe, confident, and supported while they learn and grow. When babysitting, I prioritize creating a calm, nurturing environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I enjoy building meaningful connections through play, conversation, and routine whether that means reading books before bedtime, playing board games, doing arts and crafts, or helping kids wind down after a busy day. I’m attentive to routines like meals, homework time, and bedtime, and I approach transitions with patience and care, especially for children who benefit from extra structure or reassurance. As a tutor, I support children with homework, skill-building, and learning routines in ways that feel encouraging rather than stressful. I break tasks into manageable steps, use visuals or hands‑on activities when helpful, and celebrate effort and progress along the way. For example, I might turn math practice into a game, help a child organize their assignments with a simple checklist, or use drawing and writing prompts to strengthen reading and writing skills while keeping things engaging. I’ve worked with children of all ages and abilities, and my background in special education helps me tailor my approach to each child’s learning style, energy level, and needs. Families often tell me they appreciate my kindness, consistency, and clear communication, as well as the balance I strike between structure and fun. My goal is always to create a safe, positive, and playful space where children feel supported, capable, and cared for and where parents feel confident knowing their child is in loving, reliable hands. If you’re looking for a babysitter and tutor who will treat your child with genuine care and make the day a little brighter, I would love to connect.

We had a wonderful experience with our manny this summer. He spent many days caring for my son and created such a fun, active, and nurturing environment that it honestly felt better than sending him to summer camp. He kept my son engaged by getting him moving, dancing, playing outside, and reading together every day. He brought great energy, patience, and creativity, and my son truly looked forward to their time together. He was reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring. I always felt confident knowing my son was safe, happy, and learning through play and connection. I would absolutely recommend him to any family looking for a dedicated and engaging caregiver.

We hired Nicole in March ‘25 and she currently still Nannie’s for us. She was a gem we stumbled on! We were so lucky to find her. She started taking care of our babygirl at 3 months and now she’s a toddler. Nicole is compassionate, caring, nurturing and amazing with our little girl. She has read to her from day one and has worked with us for her to achieve her milestones; from helping us to teach her to roll, to tummy time, to her drinking from an open and straw cup, Nicole has helped us without crossing boundaries. She is also in tune with our girl and learned her cues which has been helpful for our babygirl too. She’s respected our schedule and followed it as well, even with the changes we make. Nicole is not just a typical nanny, she truly cares for the intellectual development of a child and we have benefitted greatly from it. I highly recommend her. I always love the updates throughout the day and the final check in when I come home. I highly recommend her!

I’m located in College Park, MD (UMD area) and I’m willing to drive as needed. As a teenager and babysitter I knew I wanted to work with children but as a pediatric doctor, But once I took Child development classes and parenting it really opened my eyes to another interest and that was being a early childhood education teacher. taking these classes I learned a lot about a parent perspective and childcare teachers as well in certain situations also along with being a teacher studying the different methods and also hands on experience on writing lesson plans and actually interacting with the children. By my senior year I did an internship at a child care facility to experience how a center is ran and the interaction with the children and teachers. After I graduated I worked for Kindercare Learning Center over a year, Children Of America almost 3 years, and a privately owned daycare for over a year before I recently decided to help local families who need care for their children.
