I have 9 years experience with babysitting and child care ,which I was an after school sitter for several different families, for children from pre-school through the 7th grade. I have about 4 years experience working with children who have autism and/or a special disability. I babysit ages anywhere from infant to 13 years old. i have exactly 5 years experience with newborns-3 year olds. I absolutely love being around children and they LOVE being around me. As a teenager and babysitter I knew I wanted to work with children but as a pediatric doctor, But once I took Child development classes and parenting it really opened my eyes to another interest and that was being a early childhood education teacher. taking these classes I learned a lot about a parent perspective and childcare teachers as well in certain situations also along with being a teacher studying the different methods and also hands on experience on writing lesson plans and actually interacting with the children.
