Hello! After 16 months caring for a wonderful baby girl who is now starting daycare, I am looking for a new full-time position with a loving family. I have a soft spot for babies and truly enjoy caring for them. I bring over 19 years of experience, and caring for children is more than a job for me — it’s something I do with my whole heart. I also help with light housekeeping and cooking to support the whole family. I am a fluent French speaker and speak limited English. However, many families have found this to be a positive — the little girl I’ve cared for recently now says several words in French! I don’t just meet a baby’s basic needs — I actively engage with them through creative play, singing, and activities that support early language development. I love singing to babies and watching how they light up with joy during interactive play. Helping little ones learn and grow through connection and care is something I truly enjoy. I’m reliable, nurturing, and ready to bring love and support to a new home. I’m happy to provide references from my current family. Please reach out if you’d like to learn more. 💕

We love Olive! It's quite obvious that her gift is taking care of babies. She cared for my six month old and he loved her soothing energy and playfulness. The one thing we loved about her was her attention on our baby. Some people just do the bare minimum to make sure the baby is fed, clean, etc, but Olive actually engages plays and sings to the baby constantly. It's so sweet. We 1000% recommend her.

Hi! I’m Olivia, a sophomore at Morgan State University in Baltimore Maryland, originally from California , with four years of paid childcare experience. I truly enjoy spending time with kids and helping them learn, grow, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment. I’m currently in school to become a nurse, and I would love to be a labor and delivery nurse. I have four years of paid childcare experience with children of all ages. I’ve been a overnight summer camp counselor for children and teens ages 6–17, where I supervised campers, led games and activities, encouraged teamwork, and helped create a safe, fun, and welcoming environment. In addition to my paid experience, I’ve had extensive informal experience caring for my 9-year-old younger brother and several younger cousins, so I’m very comfortable working with children of different ages and personalities. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, dependable, patient, and always bring a positive attitude. Whether it’s crafts, playtime, homework help, or bedtime routines, I’m ready to jump in and help make your day a little easier!

Had a great experience working with Delaney for ou first time using Sittercity and hiring a non-family babysitter to watch our 7 month old son and 2 year old daughter. She responded quickly to the job we posted on the site with a clear, detailed, and relevant response summarizing her experience working with children the same age as ours. She communicated her availability and was able to support a late evening phone interview before booking. She was able to answer all of our questions clearly during the phone interview and asked relevant questions we hadn't thought of around the children's allergies, interaction with pets, and temperament/preferences. On the day of the job, she arrived on time, listened carefully and asked clarifying questions while discussing routines/instructions, and made us feel comfortable leaving the children in her care. Both children warmed up to her and she was able to take them for a walk to the park and play with them at home. She handled feeding the 2 year old dinner, bottle-feeding and changing the infant, and putting them both to bed without any difficulty and provided us with updates while we were out and when we returned. Our daughter was excited talking about the fun she had with Delanay the following day, and we would definitely work with her again for our childcare needs.

Hi! My name is Jessica, and I have 19 years of childcare experience through babysitting, nannying, and early childhood education. I started babysitting at 14 years old and have always had a genuine passion for working with children and supporting families. I worked at The Goddard School for four years as a Teacher Assistant, where I helped care for children in a structured classroom environment. My responsibilities included supporting daily routines, assisting with educational activities, supervising playtime, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, and helping children learn and grow through positive engagement and consistency. My background in psychology, social science, early childhood education, and cybersecurity has helped me develop strong communication, organization, patience, reliability, and a deep understanding of child development and emotional support. Families describe me as dependable, patient, caring, and trustworthy. I love creating a warm, safe, and positive environment where children feel supported, comfortable, and encouraged to be themselves. I take pride in building strong relationships with both children and parents and understand how important it is for families to feel confident and at ease with their childcare provider. I am also offering nannying care from my home in a smaller, personalized setting. This allows me to provide more one on one attention, a calm environment, structured routines, and individualized care to help each child feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the day. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hello there, I’m Makenzie! Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. I’m a responsible, devoted and dependable babysitter with 9 years of babysitting experience! Ages I’ve watched have ranged from 6 months - 13 years old. I have a true passion for babysitting and caring for children overall. This summer, I was a private nanny to a 9 month old and a 2 year old, while last summer I previously was a behavioral technician for children with autism. I’m currently working to become CPR and first aid certified because safety is a main priority for me. I want to create an environment that can feel comfortable, vibrant, calming, exciting, inviting, safe and secure for any children in my care. I love reading stories, playing games, helping with homework, building, creating, arts and crafts, sports playing, and any creative activities that’ll keep kids engaged and happy. I have a state registered drivers license, as well as a state registered Kia Sorento 2025, with plenty of space, quality technology, and no mechanical issues. I want parents to be able to discuss clear and open with me, so we can have confident and informal talks with one another. I’m aiming to make everyone involved feel at ease with each other! Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.
