I am a young lady, who is passionate with working with children. I have a bachelors in psychology, worked at a school and also as an au pair. I enjoy being with children and being creative with them, doing arts and crafts, going to activities and creating a special bond with them. I also do light house work such as cleaning up, meal prep, laundry for the kids and tidying up their play area.

Karen C., Babysitter in White Marsh, MD 21162 with 5 years of paid experience

Hi! I'm Karen. I am a devoted and loving mom of two young adults. As a former foster parent for the state of Maryland, I have cared for children of all ages and am CPR certified and first aid trained through the Red Cross. I have experience caring for children who have autism, ADHD and other disabilities. In addition to raising my own children and fostering, I acquired childcare experience through babysitting for family, friends and neighbors, previously working at a daycare center, leading classroom lessons and activities at my church and also substitute teaching elementary age students. Watching children learn and grow through engaging interaction is fulfilling and enjoyable to me. I like to occupy children with craft activities, art projects, games and puzzles, outdoor play, cooking lessons...anything that limits screen time and encourages imagination and creativity. I believe that some down time is also important. For that purpose, book reading, puppet shows, cloud shape guessing and wildlife watching would be some of my possible choices. There's surely no lack of things I could come up with to keep children busy, but the number one reason to choose me to be your caregiver is this...I love kids! They make life fun! I really enjoy teaching them and then watching them progress through their many stages of childhood. You can expect that I will treat your child/children with respect and I will nurture and care for them as if they were my own.

Karen was perfect for us. Karen was always right there for us. The boys just love her and the boys never seemed to tire of trying to show off for her. It is hard to think that we could find a better sitter than Karen.

Hi! I’m Olivia, a freshman at Morgan State University in Baltimore Maryland, originally from California I will be returning to california May 14th , with four years of paid childcare experience. I truly enjoy spending time with kids and helping them learn, grow, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment. I’m currently in school to become a nurse, and I would love to be a labor and delivery nurse. I’ve worked as a part-time cooking teacher for children in pre-K through sixth grade, where I led creative, hands-on classes that helped me develop strong skills in keeping kids engaged, happy, and learning. In addition to my paid experience, I’ve had extensive informal experience caring for my 8-year-old younger brother and several younger cousins, so I’m very comfortable working with children of different ages and personalities. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, dependable, patient, and always bring a positive attitude. Whether it’s crafts, playtime, homework help, or bedtime routines, I’m ready to jump in and help make your day a little easier!

Rosanna is a dream. She was our nanny for our two little ones for the last 3 years. She started with us when our oldest was 3 months old and was there when we had our 2nd baby. Rosanna has all the qualities you could hope for in a caregiver: gentle, patient, firm when needed, and deeply understanding of the delicate balance it takes to raise children. What stood out the most was how easy she was to work with. As first-time parents, navigating the challenges of raising children can be overwhelming but Rosanna consistently provided us with unwavering support. She listened carefully and adapted to our parenting style, and gave us the space to figure things out on our own without judgement. Her presence was a comfort and relief and her guidance was always encouraging. When we moved, her commute increased by nearly an extra hour each way. Despite this added challenge, she graciously continued working with us for 3 additional months to help transition our youngest before daycare began. Her dedication and commitment to our family during this time speaks volume about her character and work ethic. We are so grateful for the love, care, and professionalism she brought to her role. She has made an indelible mark on our family and we will always cherish the time she spent with us. We wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a nanny who is not only skilled and reliable but also kind-hearted and understanding.

We’ve been very happy with Iqra as our after-school sitter for our 5-year-old son. She’s dependable, always arrives on time, and communicates clearly and promptly with us. What we appreciate most is how genuinely engaged she is with our son—she plays with him, encourages his imagination, and keeps him happily active after a long day of school. He looks forward to seeing her, which says a lot! We feel confident and comfortable knowing he’s in such good hands. Highly recommend.

Kel helped us out on weekdays for a month (Jan. 2022) when we were in a bind. She was wonderful and we really miss her! She was so patient with the kids (5 and almost 2) and kept them safe. She loved playing with them and knew how to set appropriate boundaries when their behavior slipped. She did very well sticking to their schedule and keeping them in their routine. My family greatly benefited from her help and the kids loved her. Her education background really came through in using different communication strategies and educational activities with the kids. I could tell she truly enjoys working with children. Don’t miss the opportunity to have her work with your child!

Tiffany J., Babysitter in White Marsh, MD 21162 with 24 years of paid experience

Hello! My name is Tiffany. I am a forty-year-old military spouse. I recently moved to Bel Air. I have three children; a twenty-five year old daughter, a fifteen-year-old son, and an ten-year-old son. I am a registered nurse. I am certified in Pediatric & Adult CPR, First Aid, and Basic Life Support. I have been providing care for children since I was twelve years old. I would provide care for a lot of my neighbors, friends, family, and friends of my family members. They would refer me to anyone they knew who was looking for childcare. Since my husband has been in the military, we have lived in Tampa for four years, Hawaii for four years, Texas for one year, Washington state for two years and now back in Maryland. While residing at these locations, I have provided care for a few of the military families that I had the pleasure of meeting. I provide care in my home because it allows me to be available for my children as well if there are any changes with school or if they need to stay home. However, I am open to possibly providing care in your home depending on the day, time, and situation. We can discuss if that would be an option. My house is very safe and child-friendly with plenty of toys and age-appropriate activities to keep your children entertained. I like to incorporate learning into play to make learning fun and can provide homework help. If you're interested, please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I look forward to working with you to see if I can help meet all of you and your family's needs. Thank you for your time and have a blessed day!
