Hi there! My name is Maddie and I’m a student at the Maine College of Health Professions majoring in Radiologic Technology. I grew up in a large family with 5 biological siblings and a newly added adopted sister! I’ve also been very fortunate to have a few nephews join the family in recent years. I enjoy spending time with children and love when I get to work in pediatrics at the hospital. I am currently CPR certified. I’m looking for some extra work outside of my job or would even be willing to leave my current position to work with kids more often when I’m not in classes or clinicals. I’m very good with animals, currently living with two Newfoundlands and a chihuahua!

I have been working in childcare for four years in various settings, from summer camp to schools. I am cool under pressure and have a strong work ethic.

As a member of a big family, I've been surrounded by children for years and have a great fondness for them. Being the eldest sibling currently living at home, I've had multiple opportunities to watch my two younger siblings while my mother is working. I've also had many opportunities to watch my younger cousins and children of family friends. I have experience in watching kids, playing with them, feeding them. I'm not certified in CPR or First Aid, but I have been taught both in classes during high school and by my mother who is a nurse. Children are a joy to work with and I would much appreciate the chance to babysit.
