With going on 4 + years of experience, I think it’s safe to say that I love spending time with kids. I’m here to provide them with a safe and fun caregiver so you guys can go out and get things done! Kids are so silly and I love learning all about their individual personalities. I’ve done childcare in almost all aspects, I coached gymnastics for 3 years, was a camp counselor, preschool substitute teacher, and as of more recently I am a nanny for a lovely family. Being born into a large family I was always looking after cousins and family friends. I have a first aid certification, as well as CPR and mandated reporter training. I am registered with the state of Maine. I have experience and knowledge around neurodivergence as well as some physical disabilities. I use a Montessori and gentle parenting technique to ensure that I am helping the kids and keeping them engaged. Hello I’m Olivia! I am 25 years old and currently living in Maine but moving to Mass in the next couple months. I have been working with children for about 10 years now, my first childcare job besides babysitting was at 16 and I was working at a preschool! At 18 I went to Costa Rica for a little and helped work at a preschool over there. The past 5 years i’ve worked at a preschool that ranges from 6 weeks to 6 years old. I have been a lead teacher for 3 infant classes, the babies in my class at the moment at 3-8 months! I have lots of experience with kids of all ages but specialize in infant/toddler care. I’m looking for something more personal than another preschool when I move to Mass! Although I love being in that setting I appreciate the relationships and closeness you can get with a family! My goal is to hopefully be moved down by late August/September :)
