I have worked as a nanny/babysitter for many families occasionally as I started working in the social work field. I am an loving and responsible mother of a beautiful young lady. I have over 40 years experience caring for children in private homes and in licensed day care centers. I successfully raised my daughter alone. She is now a college graduate and is employed in her field of study. I also have over 30 years as a cook/chef, both privately and in day cares, hospitals, hotels, and senior living centers. I also have creative and artistic talent, which in the past has helped with not just school projects, homework, but also with activities to help to build a child's imagination. I enjoy cooking, sports, playing games, reading and arts and crafts.

Maureen was absolutely incredible with our girls! I have a 2 year old and 3 month old and she was able to watch them throughout a long weekend when we had numerous events to attend. My 2yr old is quite active and energetic and Maureen kept up with entertaining her amazingly. She also was so kind and sweet with my littlest one. It was such a piece of mind to have her as our sitter while we were on our trip and she truly treated them like family.

Hello! I’m Meemee—a 24-year-old University of Michigan graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences. I currently work part-time as a certified pharmacy technician while preparing for graduate school, and I continue to offer occasional babysitting services for families seeking trusted, compassionate care. With over 9 years of hands-on childcare experience—from helping raise my younger siblings to supporting local families—I bring a calm, nurturing, and dependable presence to every home. I’ve supported children of all ages, from toddlers to teens, including those with special needs and medical complexities. My younger brother, who battled cancer for many years, was a central part of my life. As one of his primary caregivers, I developed not only practical care skills, but deep patience, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility. I’m certified in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen safety, and I have my own reliable transportation. I’m comfortable preparing meals, helping with homework, offering light tutoring, or simply making sure your children feel safe, engaged, and cared for in your absence. Whether you need last-minute help, after-school care, or support for date nights or weekends away, I’m here to provide peace of mind. If you’re looking for thoughtful, professional, heart-led care, I’d be honored to support your family.

Did a great job with my 7, then 8 year-old son. Helped with school during the pandemic. Him and her grew pretty close.

Hi! I’m Kendyle, a student at the University of Michigan with 8 years of babysitting experience. I started babysitting when I was 11, riding my bike to care for five kids down the street ranging in age from 1 month to 9 years old. Since then, I’ve worked with over 15 families and truly enjoy building connections with kids and watching them grow. I’ve cared for children of all ages and have experience watching up to 8 kids on my own. I’m certified in babysitting and CPR, and I’ve also worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor, which has given me even more experience working with children in a safe and structured setting. In addition to childcare, I’ve also tutored kids and can help with homework when needed. I’m reliable, patient, and always happy to lend a hand. I’d love the opportunity to care for and support your family!

Absolutely Outstanding Nanny! We have been truly blessed to have Gabrielle (Gabby) as our son’s nanny for the past year, and it’s with heavy hearts that we say goodbye. From day one, Gabby has been an absolute rockstar — always on time, every single day, without fail. Her reliability gave us complete peace of mind as working parents. Gabby communicated beautifully with us and showed wonderful initiative whenever our now 4-year-old was having a tough moment. Whether it was a meltdown, a tricky behavior phase, or just needing a little extra patience and creativity, she jumped in with kindness, problem-solving, and a huge heart. She didn’t just watch our son — she truly cared for him, helped him grow, and made every afternoon brighter. Gabby quickly became a trusted, loved member of our family. We will miss her warm smile, her energy, and the joy she brought into our home every single day. Gabby, congratulations on your next exciting chapter — you deserve all the best! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you’ve poured into our son and our family this past year. You made a real, lasting difference, and we will never forget it. We will miss you so much! We would recommend Gabrielle to any family in a heartbeat — she is truly one of the best. 5 stars doesn’t even feel like enough!

Leighanna taught two of my children in preschool. She always showed love, patience, and care for our boys. The creativity she brought to the classroom is amazing, and our children came home talking about new songs and projects every day. She takes the time to connect with each child individually and creates a warm, engaging atmosphere. We highly recommend Leighanne to any family looking for a caring and skilled nanny!

I am familiar with most of the science centers, zoos, and museums in Southeast Michigan and would love to take your children on exciting adventures. I am excited to apply for the nanny position with your family. I would love to create an adventure filled summer camp feel for your children in the comfort of your own home. I can tailor themes to your specific interests, i can provide itinerarys age appropriate upon request. While my professional background has been in aviation, I believe my 25 years as a flight attendant with Spirit Airlines, combined with raising two successful college students, has given me the perfect blend of patience, responsibility, organization, and caregiving skills needed to be an exceptional nanny. As a mother, I raised a 21-year-old and a 19-year-old who are both thriving college students. I was deeply involved in every stage of their lives — volunteering at their schools, attending field trips, organizing parties and activities, and helping students who were struggling academically. I always believed children learn best when they feel supported, encouraged, and engaged. One of my greatest joys was creating memorable summer adventures for my children and their friends that combined fun with learning, creativity, exploration, and new experiences. Whether planning educational outings, outdoor activities, crafts, or hands-on projects, I love helping children grow their confidence and curiosity about the world around them. My career as a flight attendant also strengthened many qualities that transfer naturally into childcare. I am calm under pressure, highly dependable, safety-focused, nurturing, and skilled at managing multiple needs at once. Working with families and children from all walks of life taught me patience, flexibility, and strong communication skills. I would love the opportunity to bring my warmth, experience, energy, and dedication to your family. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to speak with you further.

Hi! My name is Nathan, and I’m a sophomore at the University of Michigan in the School of Music studying Jazz and Contemplative Studies originally from Boston, MA. I’ve spent the last four years working as a certified lifeguard and the last three years coaching youth swim, so I have a lot of experience working with kids of all different ages, personalities, and energy levels. I’m also certified in First Aid and CPR, and I take safety, responsibility, and trust very seriously while still making sure kids feel comfortable, supported, and able to have fun. I’m dependable, patient, and very used to staying calm in busy or high-energy situations. Whether I’m supervising activities, helping with routines, keeping kids on schedule, or making sure rules are followed, I try to create an environment that feels safe, positive, and engaging without feeling overly strict. I’m also happy to help with homework. I can help kids stay focused, work through assignments, review directions, and make sure schoolwork gets done before moving on to something more fun. I know how important it is to balance structure with encouragement, especially when kids are tired, distracted, or just need someone patient to sit with them and help them get started. As a musician, I love bringing creativity into babysitting when kids are interested. That could mean making up silly songs, playing rhythm games, introducing them to instruments, having a dance break, or finding fun ways to make music part of the day. I also enjoy cooking and would be happy to help with meals or snacks. I especially like turning cooking into a fun activity, whether that means making simple recipes together, letting kids help with safe steps, or coming up with fun snack ideas. Overall, I love creating activities that are creative, active, and hands-on, whether that’s music, cooking, games, outdoor play, arts and crafts, homework support, or whatever the kids are excited about that day. I like to say I was part of the last couple years that did not rely so heavily on screens for entertainment, so I’m very pro arts and crafts, imagination, and activities that let kids experience the kind of creative, hands-on fun I grew up with.
