My mom was also a foster parent for many of my growing up years, so I would assist her in watching the kids for a few minutes or by feeding, changing, and taking care of babies. I love children with a passion, I am fun will let kids be kids, but I also use a gentle but firm guiding hand. I'm not strict, but I have expectations of behaviors. I prefer to get children outside to play, or to use toys when inclement weather is a problem. I do not believe in using tv as a babysitter and instead prefer music. I am CPR/First Aid certified, and have other medical training as part of a previous job.
