Before that, I nannied for several families while living on base in California during my husband’s military service. I truly enjoy watching little ones grow and learn, and I like to establish gentle routines when possible so children feel secure and know what to expect around meals and naps. That said, I completely understand that flexibility is sometimes needed, and I’m comfortable adapting when schedules don’t go as planned. I’m very familiar with food allergies (as I have several myself) and cloth diapering, which I used with my own child. I’m flexible with scheduling, including last-minute needs. I’m CPR, AED, and First Aid certified, a non-smoker, have a clean background check, and can provide references. I love working with children! I have recently nannied a family but they just went to school. I have been a preschool teacher at a small private school for 1 year. I worked at a daycare starting as an assistant teacher in the infant/toddler side and eventually got my CDA and became lead teacher, eventually moved to the preschool side and was lead teacher there for a little bit as well. I have also babysat family friends kids off and on as they need it and I am free. I have had my CPR certification but it has expired since last time I took it, I am of course willing to take it again for the comfort of the parents if needed:)
