I love working with kids, and I have a lot of experience doing just that. As a college student, my job during the school is year is to be a literacy tutor for elementary students. I frequently go to elementary schools and help kid improve their literacy and comprehension skills, and I also work at a family learning institute where I frequently help kids with their homework. Additionally, I often volunteer at the local library tutor center to help students with their homework or just to talk with them while they wait for parents to pick them up. Working with kids has taught me that patience and understanding are very necessary skills to have.
