I am currently a nanny of two year old twin boys. I engage in play, crafts and learning letters, numbers and shapes. I like to take them outside for fresh air as well. I prepare meals, change diapers, do laundry, dishes and vacuuming. Before then I had a 7 month old girl that I nannied! I did all of those things with her as well, and lots of reading and singing! I currently volunteer at my church as a lead teacher for grades 1-5. I teach the lesson, do a craft, pray with them and coordinate worship. I have been in that role for over 5 years. When my kids were young I had a daycare where I watched my two friends children. They ranged in age from 18 months- 4 years. We had structured lunch and nap times as well as outdoor play and quiet time. I am patient and kind and love to have fun when I engage with kids. I am structured but also flexible when needed. I believe that kids need routine in their day. I am CPR certified as well as first aid. I was a medical assistant for 13 years, 4 of that being in pediatrics. Kids feel comfortable around me and seem to really enjoy my company as much as I enjoy them.
