Hello, my name is Clara and I have taken care of children for over 40 years now and love it. I am currently with a very loving family now. They are having their second child and the mom just told me she is quitting her job to stay home with the kids. They want to still keep me but, my hours will be cut. I have been with them 3 years in April and love the little girl like my granddaughter. I have worked in a daycare center where I took care of four infants at a time loved every minute of it. I fed them, read to them, sang to them, played with them, took them outside, and saw to whatever their needs were to be done. I worked with special needs children. I helped teach one sign language so he could speak to us. I worked for them for 3 years. I only left because they divorced and the mom could not afford to pay me anymore. I worked for another couple who had 4 kids 4 dogs plus I helped clean the house. I worked there for 41/2 years. I drove their kids all over for their extracurricular activities. Hi, my name is Hannah! I am currently a third year student at Ferris, with plans to graduate fall of 2026. I am a nursing major, and I am super excited to become a pediatric oncology nurse when I graduate. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I've always enjoyed working with kids. I have more experience with babies, but I have babysat for newborns up to ten years old. I used to watch around 5 or 6 kids during a mom support group, so I have no issue with watching more than one kiddo. I am patient and love doing fun activities with the kids. I also was an elementary English and math tutor for around 3 years so I have no problem helping with homework. I love animals, so I'm able to do pet cares as well, and I don't mind light cleaning and meal prepping to help with your busy schedule either!
