Also the ability to supervise 5 or more children.

Hello, I have been caring for children for as long as I can remember, from helping raise me younger siblings to helping my mother babysit. I love children of all ages and have experience caring for children of all ages. I grew up babysitting. And also have over two years experience working in days cares. I have taken many child care classes such as sleep classes and child development classes. I have been an EMT (emergency medical technician) for almost 6 years and am CPR trained. I love to do crafts, read books, and play outside. I have no problem with meal prep, light house work and driving the kiddo(s) to school or other events, and I am a non smoker. I have been in childcare for many many year! I recently closed my home daycare so I could actually have my home back but I’m at the point where I would rather go to someone else’s house and care for them. I love children, mainly because they have know agenda, they are so innocent and honest. I have a lot of experience. My specialty ages are in infant/toddlers. I’m Aiden, and I’ve recently graduated and started college and I want to start gaining some experience with my passion. I plan to study pediatric/neonatal nursing and I’d like to take my first steps and get my feet wet with child care.

I am a certified special education teacher. I have my Bachelor's in Education from Wayne State University and my Masters in Special Education from Arkansas State University. I have experience in supervising children and keeping them safe, conflict resolution, conscious discipline techniques, and helping children to learn appropriate playground behavior. I was a lunch aide at an elementary school for 3 years, and then I switched to substitute teaching for all grade levels. I have experience with large and small groups of children in various settings and of varying ages. My mom was also a foster parent for many of my growing up years, so I would assist her in watching the kids for a few minutes or by feeding, changing, and taking care of babies. I love children with a passion, I am fun will let kids be kids, but I also use a gentle but firm guiding hand. I'm not strict, but I have expectations of behaviors. I prefer to get children outside to play, or to use toys when inclement weather is a problem. I do not believe in using tv as a babysitter and instead prefer music. I am CPR/First Aid certified, and have other medical training as part of a previous job.
