I’ve babysat for my sister for about 4-5 years and I’ve watched my brother since I was around 12 years old and helped him with homework, practiced sports with him, watched movies, made food and now that I have my license we take care rides to get food, drinks, go to the water and more! Hi! My name is Lauryn Roff! I am twenty-two-years old. I have been a nanny for the last six years and a babysitter for the last ten. I have had the opportunity to be a primary childcare provider at a daycare working inside their infant room. While there, I was responsible for four infants, ages one year and younger, full-time. Along with that, I have been a weekly volunteer in nurseries, daycares, and events for children and youth at my attending church, for the last ten years. I have just recently signed up for online classes for early childhood development for as long as I can remember. I have wanted to help and the best way too help is to be the person you needed when you were younger. Now that statement can mean a million different things to everyone but too me that statement means someone too listen someone too laugh with or take my mind off things no child should've had too be thinking. I strive too make any child under my care feel safe understood and most importantly to me that i am their friend not their babysitter or nanny.

I started babysitting when I was 12 years old. My first child I babysat was about a year old and I watched him until he was five years of age. I helped him learn his ABC's, counting, reading, and using the potty. As he got older, I helped him with school work. I did housework duties and made him meals everyday. My second child I babysat started at the age of 15 and she was a newborn. I had to change her diapers, feed her, burp her and rock her to sleep until she was the age of 2 years old. There were also 3 children I babysat occasionally on weekends who ranged from 2 years old to 9 years old. I also have worked at three daycares in the past working with toddlers ranging from 16 months up to 36 months and school aged kids. I also used to babysit family members' children every now and then while attending high school. Last but not least, I am a mother to 3 beautiful girls that are 17,11& 6 so they give me even more experience. I love children and I enjoy the responsibilities and duties that follow. I am also able to pass a background check as I have worked at the YMCA back in 2023, I did work there for almost a year but I left to go back to Speedy Q but unfortunately they got new owners and everything got complicated so I left. So now Im working for the PHASD as a noon hour supervisor but I'm off for the summer so I have full availability until school starts back up on September 3rd, 2025.
