I did volunteer work in the church. For 3 years I took care of children of all ages at church. Babies from 6 months to 1 year, and children from 2 to 10 years. With the babies, I helped take care of them by giving them bottles, changing their diapers and putting them to sleep. When they were awake, they played games to stimulate the baby's skills, such as painting, playing Legos or watching cartoons on TV. With the older children I did activities that also stimulate their development, such as drawing and painting, playful games, I gave them snacks and was always there to give them all the support they needed, and it was really cool, because at the same time I taught them, I also learned from them. to be patient and empathetic and to understand their needs.

I graduated high school last year and decided to take a gap year to focus on babysitting and gaining real-life experience working with children. During this time, I have had the opportunity to care for kids of different ages, which has helped me develop strong childcare skills and a deep understanding of children’s needs.
