I worked for nearly 20 years at a Montessori school with preschool and toddler age children. For primarily 15 of those years I was the assistant toddler teacher and the last about 5 years I was the school closet. I also worked at 2 other child care centers in the preschool classrooms. I also worked part-time and subbed at an in-home daycare. My sister and I ran the daycare, took care of their cat while they were on a vacation. I am a former middle school English teacher. I spent many years raising my own active children while also working part time for Lifetime Fitness as a fitness instructor and I’ve also been with Delta for over nine years as a customer service Gate and Ticketing agent. I do part-time subbing for the Eden Prairie as well. All of these jobs required a background check and my CPR, first aid and AED training has been continuous for over 20 years. Now that my children have all graduated college and my other jobs are not full-time; I have the flexibility to do child-care. I enjoy doing fun projects with kids as well as active play, park visits, etc. I have most recently done a lot of substitute teaching in special ed and phy-ed for elementary ages- young adult ages.
