I have been a paid babysitter for the past seven years for family friends and neighbors. Before coming to college I worked for nine months as a nanny for three children under two years old. I have been Red Cross Babysitter certified and have gotten additional child care training from working in summer camps through PP&R. I have babysat for children 3mo to 10yrs old. I enjoy babysitting because I like being able to meet children at their level and allow them to explore and grow in a safe and positive environment. I love playing with children and interacting with them in a creative and collaborative way. I love getting to know each child and integrating myself into the unique culture of each family.

I was born & raised in Jacksonville, Fl. I met my husband while he was stationed there. We married, then moved to his home state of Mn! In July of '22 I became a mama to a miracle born at 23 weeks. He spent 126 days in the hospital, came home in November '22, & has been thriving ever since! For over 20 years I have watched children ranging in age from 2 months to 11 years old. I have volunteered as a summer camp counselor, babysat, been a nanny to 7 families, & have worked at a licensed childcare center. While working at the center, I have also attained my first aid & CPR certification. I love watching kids because there is hardly ever a dull moment & seeing them accomplish something that you helped teach them to do is super rewarding.
