I first started on sitter city in 2008. It did not take long to meet and care for the children of several families. Many of the relationships were long term so I became inactive on the site. My last family moved just before Covid took hold. I had just updated my child infant CPR and first aid as I intended to start looking again. That didn’t happen because of Covid so I’m starting again now. I did raise 6 children of my own, worked as a nanny for 10 years and have been actively babysitting for Sittercity families for 10 years. I’m looking for occasional sitting opportunities in my area. I do part-time subbing for the Eden Prairie as well. All of these jobs required a background check and my CPR, first aid and AED training has been continuous for over 20 years. Now that my children have all graduated college and my other jobs are not full-time; I have the flexibility to do child-care.
