I first became a certified babysitter when I was about 10 years old. I started with babysitting my cousins who are 10 and 7 years younger than I am. Once I learned the ropes I began working with my church nursery, Sunday school, and parents night out (a night where parents drop their children off at church and we babysit in class sizes of up to 15 children each). Later I started working summer camps for kids at church. I have taken care of new-born babies as well as toddlers, children, pre-teens, and teenagers solely by myself. For three years I helped out at my aunts daycare in Shakopee, Mel's Monkeys in the summer time. I love babies and younger children but am certainly happy to work with kids of all ages.
