My experience with children starts at age 7 when my little sister was born. I took on the role of a second mother to her, tending to her needs by changing diapers, giving her baths, feeding her, and putting her to bed. All together I have 6 younger siblings. In addition to my familial experiences, I also have babysitting and daycare experience with infants, toddlers and school-age children. My intuitive, nurturing and empathetic nature have always been at the core of who I am, guiding my interactions with children. Furthermore, I am very attentive, patient and kind. I love finding educational, screen-free activities to do, along with getting some outside time when the weather permits it. I am comfortable doing any cleaning, cooking, helping with homework, house managing, etc. I am also comfortable around all pets and will help take care of them, as well. References are available! My name is Tori Herrboldt and just moved to Watertown, MN to be closer to my soon to be husband’s family! I also just accepted a job as a k-5 general music teacher in Norwood! Besides students teaching, I have around 2 years of childcare experience being a teachers aid at varies daycare centers! Some of the duties I performed was setting up/cleanup for breakfast and lunch, bathroom duty/potty training, executing activities, watching over children during playtime, and creating a fun environment! I am outgoing, fun, and have a big personality, which comes in handy when working with kids! I also love all things sports and music!

I have baby sat my siblings many times, I have 9 of them. It was usually super easy and straight forward and it always helped my mom out a lot. I can clean and cook, I love to be outside and do sport activities. I would love to help out people in need over the summer while I wait for my new semester in college to start. I grew up with many other siblings and kids and my aunts would usually always watch us and it seem to be something they enjoyed and said it was fulfilling so I am looking to just help more people and create new experiences.

I used to babysit my cousins and nieces and nephews but since they are getting older, I haven’t been babysitting in a while so I was hoping this would help because I would like to babysit again I have been babysitting all ages from 0-10 years of age including newborns and have lots of experience

I believe children teach us valuable lessons that we tend to forget as we get older: how to have fun in everything we do, how to find joy and whimsy in the mundane, and how to bring us back to our childhoods. My passion for babysitting goes beyond what they can teach us: I am currently in the process of getting my bachelors in Public Health with a minor in Psychology, and I stress the importance of preventative care in caring for children. With a certificate in CPR and First Aid, I'm also great at building connections, doing creative activities, encouraging the learning of knowledge, and putting safety first! I've been a babysitter to a 10 year old the past 3 summers, as well as other children around my neighborhood when needed. I also love animals!

I am a certified occupational therapist that works with special needs students in the schools as my full time job during the school year. I work with kids from birth-21 and feel comfortable with all ages. I have 2 kids of my own (16 and 13). My CPR and First Aid are not up to date but I have been trained many times in these areas and my husband is an EMT. I used to work in a hospital and am well aware of safety as it relates to choking, illness or other injuries. I love to play games, be outside, and just HAVE FUN!! I believe that kids need all kinds of sensory experiences to learn and grow. I have worked with kids my whole life and thoroughly enjoy kids and all the joy they bring. I am a high energy person who enjoys playing and discovering and would love to come come hang out with your child.
