I’m a patient & caring sitter with over 20 years of experience caring for children of all ages including infants, toddlers, grade school, middle school kiddos and kids of all ages with special needs. I have experience with twins & multiple children close in age. I have a background in child development & some child psychology. Hello! My name is Kaya Nies and I am a graduate student living in Baltimore for the year. I am a medical student interested in pediatrics and am taking the year away for a public health Master’s program here in the area. I have always loved interacting with kiddos of all ages - my parents are elementary school teachers and I spent many teenage years volunteering in their classrooms and serving as babysitter for their colleagues. Helping kids learn and play grew to be very special to me. In college I had a couple of part-time nannying gigs and also worked as my sibling’s full-time childcare during the summers (at ages 6 months to 3 years).
