Hello. I started babysitting when I was 12 years old for a family I met at church. I worked for the family with five children both part-time and full-time for twelve years until I married and began to have a family of my own. I then raised my two children who are now young adults. Recently, I went to Australia and worked for a family with three children for over three months. Raising children and helping to raise others' children is the most worthwhile and fulfilling task and endeavor I have ever taken. I have had years of experience now, and would describe my approach to child care as gentle, kind, but also employing firm boundaries, which children respond well to. I love to play and discover what the children are interested in and exploring and engaging in activities that spark their imagination and love of learning in a style that is suited to their needs.
