Hello, my name is Taylor, 19 years of age and I am currently looking for a nanny/ babysitting job as I have moved to North Carolina leaving my work kiddos here in Indiana. For the past 2 years, I have been a respite care provider for 6 special needs children's between the ages of 3-14. I truly enjoy my kiddos and find joy in being able to do all kinds of crafts, go on outdoor adventures , engage in developmental games, and so on. On top of respite, I have been babysitting for several families since I was the age of 14! I’ve been a nanny for a 4 year old little boy full time for the past three months but he got accepted into daycare and will start attending there in a week! He and I would go to just play, park road park, freedom park, sky zone, the Read more museum, and different library’s for fun! Before moving to North Carolina away from family, my sister who is a foster parent has 4 under 1 1/2. 3-4 days out of the week I would either stay at her house or take one or two kiddos to my home overnight to ease her night! I’m very comfortable and experienced with preparing bottles both formula and breast milk, changing diapers, developmental activities for children, and getting babies back to sleep for bed or nap! Growing up, my parents have fostered over 1, 000 children and adopted 13 equaling out to 15 siblings! With that being said, I am comfortable working with any age from infants to teens. I am happy to prepare meals, help with homework, housework, and placing children to bed. I am CPR and first aid certified from 2 different companies. I also have done 4 training courses in the last 2 years for all developmental disabilities and behavioral problems. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology and an associate’s degree for dental assisting!

I felt as though Taylor was a promising candidate and a good choice for our family. She had great experience and was very friendly throughout the process. However, upon setting a meeting up she orchestrated a time and day and then when that day came she did not show up or communicate with us at all saying she was not going to make which is unprofessional. It has been a few days since the meeting day and I still have not heard a word from Taylor. It’s just very unfortunate and strange.
