I am one of nine children.  Whew, we had a great time!  LOL!  I've worked with children all my life.  I enjoy working with families. I was a State & Federally funded PRE-K teacher for seven years, therefore had to have many certifications.  I have a teacher's heart and love giving children opportunities to discover and unplug.  Let me know if I can help your family. Then we can see if it's a good match.  I will gladly provide current CPR/First Aid certifications, Early Childhood Associate Degree 2007, Li censure Teacher in Early Childhood Education for NC, Epi-pen certified and other early childhood certifications as well.      Thank you, Cynthia D. ( Ms.Cindy)

Cindy worked for us as a full-time nanny for 16 months and watched our son from 8 weeks until he was 17 months old. With our move to another state she could no longer watch our son- we would have taken her with us if we could! Cindy did more than "watch" our son, she worked with him every day on developmental tasks and he absolutely blossomed while with her. Everything she did with him taught him something yet he always had fun. She helped him learn to crawl, walk, love books, learn his colors, hand eye coordination, gain an incredible vocabulary, and understand boundaries and rules. It was a joy to have her as part of our family and our son absolutely adores his "Ms. Cinee". I would recommend her to any family- she is a gift.

My family has had the pleasure of working with Ms. Cindy for a little over two years and in that time she has truly become a member of our family. My two children love her and can hardly contain their excitement when it is time for her to come visit with them. Ms. Cindy is one if a kind. It is rare in this technologically charged society to find someone who will sit down on the floor with your children, make sure they have plenty of time to play outside and educate them. Some of my children's favorite things to do with Ms. Cindy include dancing in the kitchen, playing outside, and playing games on rainy days. With her background, Ms. Cindy has gained the ability to work with any child in any circumstance. She helps my children with potty training, manners, and regularly goes above and beyond my expectations.

I couldn't agree more with the other reviews of Ms. Cindy. I feel like there are no words to adequately review the love and respect I have for Ms. Cindy. She began sitting for our daughter almost 3 years ago. Our daughter screamed every time she was left with anyone but Momma or Daddy. I was nervous about leaving her, but knew that date nights were important for my me and my husband. Once we interviewed Ms. Cindy there were no doubts that she was a great sitter. She would call to let us know when our daughter calmed down and would always leave a note to tell us how the evening went and what they did. It didn't take long before my daughter would get excited when it was time for Ms. CIndy to come. We now have her sit for our (now 2) children once or twice a month, and they both LOVE her!! We never worry about our babies when they are with Ms. Cindy, which allows us to really enjoy ourselves on date nights. Unfortunately, we have no family on the east coast, so Ms. Cindy has become "family" to us, as my babies love her as they would their own family. I have no doubt that Ms. Cindy feels the same about them. She goes above and beyond what one would expect from a sitter. She shares wonderful parenting/educating tips and advice, as well as always keeping us up to date with events geared toward the children in the area. We absolutely love Ms. Cindy!

You will not find any better than Ms Cindy!!! This woman is AMAZING, I don't know how she does it but she has a very special gift that she is gracious enough to share with children, and their parents. Like other reviewers have said, she is way more than a babysitter… she spends every moment with your children, teaching them, loving them, playing with them. Ms Cindy is the only person in my life that when I walk out the door, I don't worry about my kids at all… I know she has everything under control. And the kids LOVE HER! It truly is inspiring to come home from date night to happy children whose lives have been enriched in my absence… she always has them doing something in a couple hours that I've been working on for weeks, and she makes it all seem fun to them! With 1.5 and 2.5 year old boys I feel like I'm challenged 90% of the time, but Ms Cindy could do it in her sleep and is always more than happy to give me some pointers for the future, which I absolutely love and have come to depend upon! Ms Cindy has been babysitting for us for over a year now - she has been a Godsend! My only wish is that I could clone her and take her with us to our next duty station - she's one in a million!

Ms. Cindy is an absolute gem! She has watched each of my two children (ages 6 and 2) since they were newborns. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is the person I go to when I have baby or developmental questions and it is obvious that she truly enjoys spending time with children. She is NOT a "set them in front of the TV" babysitter. She loves interacting with children and is a truly gifted teacher.

All I have to do is say "Ms. Cindy" and my kids start dancing and chanting "Ms. Cindy is coming"...my kids love her to death! They are always checking the calendar for when the next time Ms. Cindy is coming to play! Ms. Cindy has been wonderful with our kids, has great communication, and keeps them active. We never come home to a dirty dish in the sink & aren't surprised to find she has done a couple extra things around the house. When we interviewed her she had references, certificates, resume, etc...She was the only one to do that and that was the first reason we chose her. Choosing Ms. Cindy to be our "playmate" for our kids was the best choice we have made. As of March 2011 Ms. Cindy has been caring for our kids for 7 months.

We were lucky enough to find Ms. Cindy shortly after moving to the Fayetteville area to watch our two boys (2 and 3) for occasional "date nights." We have not left our child with sitters often and Ms. Cindy was exactly what we were looking for. She keeps our boys engaged and finds teaching moments throughout her time with them. She truly enriches them in the time she spends with them and is a blessing to our family.

I have to agree with the other 5-star reviews and say that Ms.Cindy is far more than a babysitter! She uses playtime as teaching moments and my kids love her even more for it. She got my 1.5-year-old to enjoy saying "please"! I have an 18-month-old and a three-month-old and we moved to Fayetteville where we have no family to help. I was in tears when Ms. Cindy showed up to her interview with me; however, when she left I felt empowered. She worked with me for a week giving me techniques and supporting me while I put them into action. My family is operating so much better because of the help we offered - we never went on date nights before - but with Ms. Cindy around, we've already been on two! She is a great person and someone I am happy to have around my children.

Ms. Cindy is an awesome sitter! Me and my husband love her. When she came for an interview she had all of her certifications available, drivers license, references, etc. When she sat for us she wrote down everything that went on. Which I love since I used to work daycare, and am used to that habit. She even went above and beyond by washing bottels, clipping our childs nails, and picking up a little around the house! She always has good advice from experience on situations, is very friendly, and always is very prompt with communication. I highly recommend her! Thank you!
