I am currently a Second Grade Teacher in Chatham County but live in Lee County. I teach at Thales Academy in Pittsboro, which is a year round school. I received my bachelors of science in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University. I love kids and have dedicated my life to children. While in college, I was a camp counselor for the YMCA and then promoted to Site Director. I have done many internships in different types of educational settings. I have been a babysitter since around the age of 14. I am CPR certified. I do have a car. I am energetic and passionate about caring for others. I'm a 52 year old mother of two, and grandmother of 4. I have been working as a nanny for about 9 years now, and while I am currently working full-time for a wonderful family, they will be moving soon and I will be available for a new family. I'm no plain sitter, I do so much more than sit. I'm one of the most observant and adaptable babysitters that you will ever meet. I was currently a nanny. I have been in childcare since 2017. I have an associates in early childhood education. I have two boys ages 6 and 10. I, also, have a stepdaughter that is 6 as well. I've worked with children for the past twenty-four years and I have experience with multiple children at one time, twins (infants and toddlers), newborns, infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged children and teenagers. I also have experience with infants with cleft palate, young children with ADHD, food allergies, emotional disturbances, anxiety, separation anxiety, adjustmemt disorders, sleep training, and potty training.
