But for me, I could not see myself trading places either. I started babysitting at thirteen years of age in Saudi Arabia when my family was stationed there. I babysat all through high school. In my early twenties I took a substitute teachers course and began subbing for Cumberland County Schools in Fayetteville, NC. Then in my mid twenties after orientation I began to substitute for the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools in Winston -Salem, NC. I also have worked in over 45 daycares as a substitute daycare worker for Work Family Resource, associated with Smart Start. They trained is for three days with state personnel. They also required that we take various continuing education classes at the local community colleges.
