I am the older sister of two, and I have helped my parents raise and care for my siblings since I was six. When I turned thirteen, I started working at the daycare of our church, as well as later, at sixteen, became the "official babysitter" for our church members outside of church time. I decided to get some training to ensure I had the appropriate experience when it came to caring for those kids. I spent some time as a camp teacher for kids during a retreat, and some of the skills I picked up are first aid and CPR training, as well as proper feeding, napping positioning, and some more intricate and detailed methods of work, such as bathing, playing while learning, cooking appropriate meals, etc. Working with multiple professionals in the childcare field, I learnt a lot, that's for sure. Now I can safely say that I am a good sitter, and I am well prepared to take care of your kids.
