I am new to Midland. I moved here to NC, 2018, to Midland in 2021. I moved from Clarksville, TN. I watched numerous children in 10 years I was there. Most children that I sat for were Military children. I lived right down the road from Ft.Campbell, KY. The children became members of my family as well as I became members of theirs. We went on outings, to the park for little picnics, amusement park, Chuckie Cheese, shopping, and even out for ice cream or down to Sonic for happy hour. I never took them anywhere that I did not get approval from their parents. I have played cars, robots, dolls, coloring, any arts and crafts, we watched movies, read. All my kids were special, and still are. I miss them and still stay in touch with them all. I have plenty of references, so please contact me if I can help you in anyway.

Hello families! My name is Jessica, and I bring a warm, experienced, and dependable approach to childcare. I hold a master’s degree in teaching and have worked with children of all ages—from infants through teenagers—in traditional schools, nature centers, and private family care. I also homeschool my own children, which keeps me deeply engaged in child development, creativity, and the art of negotiating with tiny people. I am also a certified assistant teacher in the Cedarsong Way, a pedagogy centered on child-led, nature-immersive learning. As a parent myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your children. Both of my children were born prematurely, so I am especially comfortable caring for infants and attentive to their unique needs. I’m just as comfortable soothing a baby as I am teaching ABCs to preschoolers, helping older kids with homework, or talking about Shakespeare with high schoolers. My daughter also has food allergies, so I understand the importance of safety, awareness, and careful planning. In addition, I hold a current Basic Life Support certification, including CPR, First Aid, and AED training. Most of all, I bring patience, responsibility, fun, and a calm presence—plus a knack for finding missing shoes and favorite stuffed animals. I would love the opportunity to support your family and care for your children like they are my own.

I had an amazing experience with Jessica! She watched my kids and was everything you could hope for in a sitter—patient, kind, attentive, and truly caring. My kids felt comfortable with her right away, and that gave me so much peace of mind. She kept me updated, was very reliable, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. You can tell she genuinely loves working with children. I’m so grateful we found her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and wonderful sitter!

I’m currently looking for a part-time nanny position and have over 16 years of experience caring for children of all ages. I’m CPR certified and truly love creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where kids can learn and grow. I currently work weekends, so I’m available during the week, and I’m also expecting a baby in September, which has made me even more passionate about childcare. I’m reliable, patient, and flexible, and I’d love the opportunity to support a great family!

Why do you love being a sitter? I really enjoy working with kids and being someone families can rely on. I love watching children learn, grow, and show off their personalities. Being able to help parents out while making sure their kids are safe, happy, and having fun is something I genuinely enjoy. What experience do you have? I have experience caring for my infant cousin from the time she was born until she was around 2 or 3 years old. During that time I helped with feeding, changing, playtime, naps, and keeping up with her daily routine. That experience taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and caring for young children. What skills and training do you have? I am currently in school for nursing and working toward my CNA certification, so I am comfortable helping care for children when they are not feeling their best. I can cook, do hair, help with homework, keep things tidy around the house, and assist with activities and outings. I love finding fun things for kids to do while also making sure they stay safe and cared for. The only thing I am currently working around is not having my own car right now, which is one of the reasons I am picking up babysitting as a second source of income while I save for one. Overall, I am dependable, patient, and always willing to help wherever I can.
