I have little siblings myself, and I often look after them. I am a substitute teacher with experience as a volunteer at my local Headstart Program. I home schooled my children and have volunteered extensively with children. I have been babysitting and involved with children since I was a child. I like to fully engage with kids and have no problem down to their level. Literally. Patient, helpful, able to be firm in a quiet way. Reading, games, quiet time. Able to respond and be friendly to all different kinds of children. By that I mean the quiet shy ones, the loud outgoing non-stop playing types. I have excellent references. Actually my best references might be from my own children who turned out very well if I may say so. My training includes thirty years of parenting. I am also a health food cook and like taking the time to either cook with children or do projects in the kitchen.
