Hi, my name is Skyler. I am 28 years old and I have over 11 years of childcare experience (6 years as a nanny with 4 kids) with multiple children at a time. My personality is calm, caring, and nurturing. I thrive at multitasking and do well in stressful environments. I'm also a very creative person and love to be outdoors and come up with new games and activities. I have recently decided to regroup on the major I'm pursuing in school and on the path to finish my degree online; with that my schedule has become more flexible. Would be available to start as of August 14th. Over the last year I worked with a family part time with a 3 year girl. We often would play at the park or jump at the trampoline park (toddler hours). Spent time playing at the house with toys or working on crafts and educational materials. From 2021-2022 I worked with a family part time with 2 boys- ages 4 and 2. I would pick them up from there morning programs and take home for rest time, entertain with games, crafts, park visits and group activities (Covid friendly) until dinner time. Before that I worked with a family for 4 years. Started out with the youngest at 2 months and kept her and her 3 year old brother at their home during the week until the 2 older siblings came home from school. I helped with homework, transported kids to and from school, practices, play dates, appointments, loved taking them to the park and museums, cooking dinner and bedtime routine, looking after them when they are sick. I am especially comfortable with infants and toddlers and a big fan of routine. I also have experience with staying overnight with children for a couple days at a time. I still have a great relationship with the family and help them out from time to time when my schedule allows it. I do not have a current CPR cert. but have taken the class and been cert. several times both by american heart and red cross for the last 12 years. Planning to sign up for a course next month. I have received the covid vaccination and up to date on the flu shot. I also have a huge love for animals. I have several friends and family members that I dog/cat sit for from time to time. I have a clean driving record and reliable transportation and a non-smoker. I am very confident in my sense of direction and know the area well.
