My name is Ellie, and my husband, German Sheppard puppy, and cat moved to Camp Lejeune last summer! We moved from Virginia, where I lived my whole life and earned my Masters in Elementary Education from the University of Mary Washington. I've been working with children for about 15 years now. I babysat in my neighborhood growing up, and never really stopped caring for kids! I babysat throughout college, and spent my summers as a preschool aide in my hometown (Charlottesville). Once I graduated, I taught 2nd grade for two years (my favorite grade to teach!) and kindergarten for a year.
