Also, after working as a middle school instructor, i went into Early Childhood development and gained a certificate and taught at a private and public pre school. Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy being around kids and being someone they can feel safe, comfortable, and cared for with. I have experience caring for younger siblings while growing up in foster care, which taught me responsibility, patience, and how to understand and care for children with different needs and personalities. I also worked at a summer camp, and I absolutely loved it! I enjoyed spending time with the kids, planning activities, keeping them safe, and getting to know their individual personalities. Working at camp confirmed for me how much I enjoy working with children. What skills and training do you have? I am CPR trained and take safety and responsibility seriously. I’m patient, caring, dependable, and understanding. I’m also good at keeping kids engaged and making sure they feel included and comfortable.
