Hello, my name is Mara & I'm currently a college student majoring in Psychology at UNL. I’m looking to be an occasional sitter & help for individuals/families. I also have training in First Aid/CPR/AED, but I'm working to get my certificate renewed as it expires every two to three years. Not to mention, in order to support the funding for my education and living expenses, I also hold a serving position at a restaurant as a part-time job. Some other certifications that are unrelated to childcare happens to be my Food Handlers Permit & ServSafe Alcohol training (restaurant requires obtaining both permits and has taught me the importance of food handling/safety, how to maintain cleanliness especially of an establishment, judgment on when someone’s impaired, quick decision-making, etc.) I would be more than happy to answer any questions that come up, just to get to know each other more!
