Mariska E., Babysitter in Lyndeborough, NH 03082 with 6 years of paid experience

Hello lovely people! My name is Mariska! I am 23 years old and have been babysitting on and off for 5 years total! I come from a large family, I am one of 8 siblings! So, caring for little ones has always been a huge part of me. Afters sadly leaving my 9-5 as a pharmacy tech, I am back to babysitting part time! I took babysitting classes in 2018 and 2020, which included a CPR certification with American Red Cross. My last two years of high school, I completed a Careers in Education class where I worked hands on with children in a preschool. Many days there would be up to 15 children at a time. Some tasks I was assigned were: -creating lesson plans -playing/reading to the children -providing snack time -classroom cleanup Throughout high school, I babysat for my mother's friend's kiddos as well as volunteered at my church in the infant area to care for the children so families could enjoy the sermon peacefully. Additionally, I am well versed in the pharmaceutical field so if your little one is on any medication at all, I am more than comfortable distributing it. As of 2026, I currently babysit for a couple different families occasionally. The ages range from infant-8yo. I have experience with carpooling teenage kids to and from school as well. If you’d like to reach out to the families i’ve worked for/currently work with for a reference, just let me know and I can provide their information! I am extremely patient and a great listener. I am organized, timely, reliable, honest, upbeat, empathetic, caring, and more than willing to take on anything! My specialty is being able to help a child destress from a tough moment! I follow routine very well, this always makes it easier for the child - to have the same routine as they do with mommy and/or daddy. My communication skills are amazing, making sure no detail of the day is left out when reporting back to the parent(s). Some parents prefer updates throughout the day, let me know what you prefer and I got your back! Thank you for taking your time to consider me! <3 If you think i’d be a good match for your family, don’t hesitate to reach out! Cash pay only please and thank you! I am open to weekly pay (rather than daily) after I have established a relationship with the family:) I care for all the children I work with like they were my own. I promise your little one(s) will be in safe hands with me. I truly love my job!! God bless ✝️ -Miss Mariska

Allison B., Babysitter in Lyndeborough, NH 03082 with 5 years of paid experience

Hello! My name is Allison, and I’m a recent college graduate looking for part-time child care work. Through my undergraduate experience studying education and anthropology, I developed a deep appreciation for connection and communication with all people- especially kids! As a part of my degree program, I have completed significant coursework in human development, with a focus on effective learning environments and holistic education. Outside of the classroom, I have worked as a substitute teacher in both New Hampshire and Connecticut, delivering lesson plans and filling in for absent teachers/educational professionals across the school day. For the past 5 years, I have worked at a summer camp in Amherst, NH, moving into a supervisory position in 2024. In addition to running daily camp activities through the summer, my role includes managing a staff of 6 full-time counselors, providing behavioral management support/redirection, and coordinating field trips to many exciting places across the state. As an environmental-education facility, I have also assisted in teaching lessons to school groups, as well as hosting site events and workshops. Through my work, I have maintained an active CPR, AED, and FirstAid certification. In my spare time, I love being outside and interacting with the natural world and all that it has to offer. I have worked in sustainability for the past several years, focusing on implementing educational programming for PK-aged students about the environment. I love running, hiking, climbing, and a plethora of additional activities that allow me to experience the incredible natural world. I have found joy in introducing these activities and encouraging a sustained interest in being outside with kids of all ages. In addition to outdoor activity, I am a craft/art enthusiast and am always exploring new creative hobbies to pursue and integrate into my teaching. I also enjoy reading, cooking, drawing, and crocheting! My child-care philosophy centers around getting to know the family that I’m working with in a meaningful way, and catering my interests to those of the children that I’m working with. I believe in consistent communication. I will always keep you updated on how your child (-ren) is doing, and the fun things that we are up to! It’s such a privilege to connect with a child and provide care during formative years, and I hope that you will reach out if I seem like a good fit! All the best! -Allison

Amanda A., Babysitter in Lyndeborough, NH 03082 with 20 years of paid experience

Hello, My name is Amanda and I am looking to care for your child/children on full time, part time, occasional or one-time basis. I currently have open availability. I am very organized and love some structure to ensure that the child/children are having fun play but also have some educational activities included to help them grow and learn. I have been babysitting/nannying children for over 20 years. I have cared for up to 4 children at one time and have cared for ages newborn up to 21 years old with a disability. I have assisted and helped with children with speech delays which included being present at the speech visits and continuing their suggestions after the appointment. Some sign language was also used to assist with this process. When I am caring for a newborn/infant I will always record our daily agenda to help keep track of feedings, diaper changes and nap times. I have also done overnight care. I have a 8 year old step son that I help raise full time. I have helped raise my niece since she was born and she is now 9 years old. I have had experience with feeding, nap time, meal prep, changing diapers, transporting to/from school and play dates. I have experience with twins and Autistic children. I have also supervised children swimming. In most of my roles I have assisted with light housekeeping and errands. Some activities I enjoy doing with children is growth and development activities, flash cards, puzzles, play games, do arts and crafts, reading, going to parks, outside and inside assorted activities. I have dogs and cats so being around animals is not a problem. I have been CPR/First AID certified however, that has since expired but I am willing to recertify.
