Hello, I am Keene State student who is also a local to the city of Keene. I have been a babysitter for years and have had three previous families that I have babysat who ended due to change in schedule and no longer needing me. The first family had two girl who I knew from birth- age four of the oldest and one and a half for the youngest. The other two families had three children from 6months to 9years old. I do active social work in the community and plan to be a sociology major in the future.

I am originally from NC but moved at the end of last year to attend school and leave my hometown! I am currently in grad school at Antioch University pursuing my Master’s in Dance/ Movement Therapy with a concentration in Couples and Family Therapy. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and I double minored in Human Development, Family Science and Sociology. I have a background in Autism and worked for about five years for the Autism Society of NC. I currently work in Childwatch during the morning at the YMCA. I love it , because it allows parents to focus on themselves and practice self-care if only for a little while ! I am the oldest of four girls and grew up babysitting for my own siblings as well as for family friends. I have experience with infants through the age of thirteen. I have been babysitting kids from ages newborn-12 years of age, I do in home daycare at my house in Marlow right now but am available to help out days I don’t have extra kids. I have two beautiful daughters who are 6 and 7 months old!

I recently got my G.E.D and I'd love to find some full-time work, while also doing something that I love. I have babysat in years past for friends/family, I am very responsible, and patient, and I am not yet, but will be getting CPR and First Aid certified. My main goal is to have fun while strictly maintaining the child's safety. I am new to professional child care, but I have babysat for multiple families, age range from <1 year- 11 years old. I've helped cook, do homework, and clean up/motivate them to clean up. I would love to create a fun, safe, and supportive enviornment where I too can learn new skills, and help your family in whatever ways I can. With 7 years of on and off babysitting behind me, I believe I can make a fun enviornment while still helping kids learn and grow. I am also a very artistic person, and love being outside, so finding activities to do shouldn't be an issue. I also have no issue helping with homework or helping to make sure chores get done.
