My name is Lisa and I live in Moultonborough. I just returned from a 8 month sabbatical traveling the USA. Prior I was employed as a Nanny with a family in Gilford for 5.5 years caring for two children three days a week and I also worked for another family caring for three children the other two days. While I was employed as a Nanny I was very active in the community and attended many child activities that are stimulating and engaging for little people. I have been working as a Nanny for the past 12 years working with many different families. I provide the children I care for with developmental appropriate activities inside and outside of their home. I generally have worked with families with children under the age of 4 but have also worked with school aged children as well. I am very experienced in caring for young children. I have been working in the early childhood field for over 20 years in many different settings. I offer guidance and support to the families I work for and have the parents be my guide onto what they are seeking and looking for in a caretaker. I will share a little about myself: I have five grown children and 3 of my children are teachers. I ran a very successful licensed family child care business in my home in Connecticut for 15 years while raising my family. I can provide many references for the time I was in business. I received my CDA (Child Development Certification) in 1998 and attended several workshops and training to encourage and provide the best child care. I relocated to New Hampshire in 2008 and worked as a Head Teacher in a Montessori school, working with infant/toddlers and also preschool children. The children I have cared for employed as a nanny were various ages under the age of four years. I have experience with twins, newborns, toddlers, preschoolers and school age children. My passion is working with little people. I am very active, have a great deal of energy and patients. I believe in children having outdoor time several times a day, and enjoy reading and feel very strongly about discouraging TV time. I believe that a routine and consistency are very important to all children. I will stimulate and engage your child throughout all the changes of development at every age.
