We have a big yard full of toys along with an assortment of toys for all ages inside. I attended Plymouth State University and earned a degree in Early Childhood Education. As an educator with over seven years of experience and as a nanny for 10 years, I am well positioned to care for your children. I have eight years of experience with kids. This experience has mostly come from teaching in various forms including dance, piano, and traditional academics. Additionally, I have experience babysitting and being a parent’s helper. I am comfortable with all aspects of childcare (such as feeding milk/solids, diapers, driving, naps, bedtime, enrichment…). Hello! My name is Carmen and have been providing childcare since 2017. At that time I was taking care of 2 boys ages 2 1/2 and 5 1/2 months old. In April of 2019 the the parents had a 3rd child so I was then providing care for the 3 boys until September of 2019 when the parents moved to Idaho to be closer to family. I then provided childcare for 2 children while their Nanny was on maternity leave which was about a 3 month period. I have been taking care of a 2 1/2 year old boy since August of 2021 thru February 2023 but he is now attending daycare.I enjoy taking the children outside weather permitting as well as playing and reading. I can also help with meal preparation and light housekeeping if needed. I'm flexible and can adapt to your families needs, whatever they may be! I have worked in both homes, schools, and a church setting with children of almost all ages. I love to play and read with them and can also assist with any school work. I am currently a student at Plymouth State University studying developmental psychology. I have always gotten along with kids and think they are fun to be around and watch grow/learn. I have been certified twice in CPR, but currently it has expired. I am willing to go through CPR training again if necessary. I currently work as an after school staff while I am at school and have babysat for a few other families.
