As an Elementary School Teacher off for the summer, I am looking to assist families in need of summertime help with their children. I have taught in a first, second, third, fourth and fifth grade classrooms. Additionally, I have experience in grades 1-7. I have also worked in an aftercare program with children grades K-4. For the past seven Summers, I have worked babysitting or nannying families. I’ve watched grade school children as well as young children, ages ranging from 6 months old to 3 years old. I enjoy playing games, outdoor activities and completing fun crafts. I also like to read books with children and tell stories. Hello! I am a certified New Jersey public school elementary teacher. I have been teaching ESL for the past three years to grades K-5. I taught English in Spain for 2 years to children ranging from 3 years old to 12 years old. I would love to share my enthusiasm of the Spanish language with the children as it was also my major in college. I worked at a preschool prior to Covid and enjoyed reading stories to the children, making crafts, and having dance breaks with the class. During Covid, I worked as a nanny for a wonderful family who worked remotely from home and I was able to see their child grow from a 6 month old to a toddler.
