Hi! My name is María and I’m the second oldest of 9 children so childcare is second nature to me. I’ve been babysitting since I was 13 years old and have babysat kids as young as 3 months and as old as 14. My previous experience includes sitting at homes, overnight, and other determined locations. I have a lot of experience working with children of all ages, both typical and special needs.  I graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor degree in music and minor in psychology and have completed some graduate coursework in social work. I have primarily worked with the elderly professionally, but have been babysitting for many years part time. I am not the "sit and watch television" kind of babysitter and I believe it is very important (especially for young children) to interact, learn, play games, and have fun while maintaining a safe environment.
