My name is Jenny, and there are 2 things I love in this world the most - children and music! I am an opera singer, mom and music teacher, and have over 25 years of babysitting and nannying experience. I started babysitting when I was 13 years old for neighborhood families, and then supported myself through college and graduate school with part time nanny positions. I also teach young kids to sing and play the piano. I am very responsible, caring and encouraging. I've raised 3 babies of my own who are school age now, and I have more free time. I'd love to be a part of your family's life!

Jenny has been babysitting for my son for about a year. He is now 6 1/2 years old. We love Jenny! He is now also taking piano lessons from here. He is watching me type this and says "I love having piano lessons with her. We love her!" I highly recommend her. She also dog sits for us.

Hello! With over 16 years of professional childcare experience, I specialize as an Infant Care Specialist, supporting families through the important early stages of their child's development. My expertise includes infant care, healthy sleep foundations, feeding support, developmental milestones, establishing consistent routines, and creating customized schedules that help both infants and parents thrive. I have extensive experience working with both domestic and international families, providing discreet, professional, and personalized care. I am comfortable supporting dynamic household environments, maintaining confidentiality, collaborating with household staff, and adapting to each family's unique parenting style and lifestyle needs. In addition to infant care, I have significant experience caring for multiple children of varying ages. I excel at creating structure within busy households while ensuring each child receives individualized attention and developmentally appropriate support. My approach is warm, hands-on, and engaging. I encourage learning through play, creativity, outdoor exploration, music, art, cooking activities, and educational outings that foster confidence, curiosity, and independence. Throughout my career, I have accompanied families on domestic and international travel, ski holidays, weddings, hotel stays, seasonal relocations, and extended vacations. Whether providing overnight support, temporary full-time coverage, travel assistance, or short-term care while families search for a permanent caregiver, I offer flexible, reliable support tailored to each family's needs. My background includes leading children's art and theatre programs through YMCA programs in California and Wisconsin. Families consistently describe me as calm, dependable, adaptable, and genuinely invested in their children's well-being and development. I am also happy to assist with children's meal preparation, maintaining routines, bedtime support, and organizing children's spaces. Please note that I have a 5-hour booking minimum. Rates vary based on the age and number of children, scheduling requirements, evenings, overnights, and travel. If you are seeking an experienced Infant Care Specialist who brings warmth, expertise, discretion, and structure to your family, I would be delighted to connect with you.

Hello Moms & Dads :)- Please take a moment to read all 🌹 My availability is 8am-6pm weekdays (2-4 days only). I am available for a weekend on occasion or special events when discussed in advance. A little about me 😊My name is Stephanie, born & raised in NYC. I was studying law in college when I ended up having my child and realized my passion laid with children and decided to pursue a degree in childhood education instead. I am a developmental specialist who is blessed to work remotely with the DOH while being a career nanny over the last 20 years. I have extensive experience with premature infants-8yr olds. Both typical & neuro divergent 🌈and have worked with families of all different cultures/beliefs. I am well versed in the milestones a child should achieve and as a caregiver I implement age appropriate goals to make sure that I work with each child on all their domains of development including their cognitive, social, language, academic (if applicable) and physical; although safety & FUN is always my #1 priority. Working with children requires patience, empathy, being passionate about it and understanding that every child is different in their own way. 🍃 I believe that good communication between parents and all caregivers is essential so that everyone is on the same page. As a mom myself I understand how difficult it can be specially for first time parents to separate from their child and feel like they are "missing out" or having a sense of guilt kick in and I'm here to make the process easier and provide ease. For parents with multiple children struggling to find alone or couple time, I am there to insure your mind is at ease with regards to your children’s care while you get some much needed girl/self/couples time. I am CPR certified and update it every 2 years. I am a non smoker. I don't do corporal punishment hence I am not a good fit with parents that do.. love pets 🐶🐱 Best of luck to everyone in their search- And Enjoy every moment. Your child will never be the age that they are today & those small moments are precious 💎. Don’t compare them to other children & always notice their strengths 💪 for there is only one of them ❤️❤️ 🌸🌸Note: I homeschool my teen who will at times accompany me and be doing his school work on the computer for the most part. This hasn’t been an issue in the past as can be seen by my reviews but completely understand the parents who are not comfortable despite the transparency.

Stephanie became such a special part of our family during the year she worked with us part time. I especially loved being able to bounce ideas off of her about my older child and find ways to encourage a bond between my two children despite their age difference. She gave me an outside perspective that, as a parent, I sometimes needed, and I truly believe she helped me reconnect with my older child in a way that brought us back to the closeness we had when he was little. She was honest, dependable, and so capable of handling whatever needed to be done when I couldn’t. Having her son around, seeing their relationship was such a beautiful example of the kind of relationship I hope to have with my own children as they grow. She really did become family, and I would recommend her wholeheartedly to any parent, especially one who feels nervous about having a nanny. She is so much more than a nanny.

Hello! My name is Lina and I am currently seeking a childcare position (30 hours/week, Monday–Thursday) starting September 2026. Before coming to the United States, I gained experience caring for babies and children in Colombia. Since then, for two years, I was an Au Pair with a family, taking care of their two girls (ages 2 and 6). I also spent a year caring for a 4-year-old girl, and most recently, I cared for a baby girl from the time she was 4 months old until she turned 1. I’m now looking for a new position because she is transitioning to daycare. As a full-time caregiver, I have handled everything related to the children in my care, including: following sleep schedules, nap and bedtimes, changing diapers and potty training, bottle and meal preparation, bathtime, and taking them to classes and scheduling playdates with other nannies. I have hands-on experience caring for infants and babies, and I truly love watching them grow, it’s one of the most rewarding parts of this work for me. I have additional experience working with various families as a babysitter, from infants to school-age kids. I am a patient, responsible, and trustworthy person who enjoys working with children, learning about them, and helping them grow. I pride myself on being committed to my work. I am reliable and dedicated to creating a nurturing, safe, and loving environment for the children I care for. I am also CPR certified and happy to provide references upon request. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to the opportunity to work with a new family starting in September!

Lina took care of our biggest treasure in the world for half a year, and, had our schedule not changed, we would have counted ourselves lucky to continue having her spend time with our now toddler. Lina is sweet, helpful, thoughtful, punctula, and incredibly attuned to the baby's needs; whether they are getting a clean diaper, a milk bottle at just the right temperature, or making sure conditions are just right for a nap. We never worried about miscommunications because she always asked for clarifications if something seemed unclear. Like other families have said, our baby loves her so much!!! Seeing Lina arrive makes our baby squeal with joy. We love her so much! Any child and family who have her in her life are assured a ray of sunshine even in the darkest of days. We are happy to talk to you if you have any questions about our experience with her.

I’m an experienced childcare professional who has babysat for many families over the years, caring for children from newborns and infants through school age. Because I’ve worked with so many different families and age groups, I’m comfortable stepping into a new household, learning a family’s routines and expectations, and building rapport with children quickly. I previously worked for a babysitting agency providing childcare for families both in their homes and at hotels. This gave me experience working with families I was often meeting for the first time and helped me become very adaptable and confident helping children feel comfortable with a new caregiver. I understand that parents may be leaving their child with someone new, so I make communication, safety, and helping both the child and parents feel at ease a priority. Many of my babysitting relationships have also developed naturally through my professional childcare positions. While working as an after-school educator and coach, several families whose children I worked with began hiring me privately for babysitting. The same happened while I worked at an infant center caring for babies ages 6 weeks to 15 months. I really value that families who saw how I interacted with and cared for their children trusted me to continue caring for them outside of those settings. My broader childcare experience includes working as a full-time nanny, infant teacher, baby nurse at a postpartum resort, ABA therapist, special needs camp counselor, and after-school educator and coach. This has given me experience with everything from feeding, bottles, diapering, soothing, naps, and bedtime routines to play, homework help, outings, and caring for multiple children. I am also EMT certified and previously served for six years as a medic in the U.S. Army. My medical background has provided extensive training in first aid, emergency response, and safety. I’m warm, patient, dependable, and very hands-on with children. One of my strengths is being able to build rapport quickly, which is especially important when babysitting children who may not know me yet. I want children to feel safe and comfortable with me while also having fun, whether we’re playing, reading, doing an activity, or simply following their normal evening routine.

I'm a responsible, patient professional on the Upper East Side looking for babysitting opportunities with infants and toddlers, especially on weekends and weekday evenings. I have years of hands-on childcare experience from helping care for my three younger sisters, who are 10 to 18 years younger than I am. Caring for younger children was a regular part of my family life growing up. I'm also adding formal training: I have an Infant Safety & CPR class with Boober, and an American Red Cross Adult & Pediatric First Aid & CPR/AED trainings scheduled in August 2026. With infants & toddlers, my priorities are safety & attention to parents' instructions. I am happy to help with bottles & feeding, diapering, soothing, naps, play, walks, and bedtime! I love being a sitter because I love babies!
