Hello Moms & Dads :)- Please take a moment to read all 🌹 My availability is 8am-6pm M-Th. Fridays I hold meetings and I am available for a weekend on occasion or special events when discussed in advance. A little about me 😊My name is Stephanie, born & raised in NYC. I was studying law in college when I ended up having my child and realized my passion laid with children and decided to pursue a degree in childhood education instead. I am a developmental specialist who is blessed to work remotely with the DOH while being a career nanny over the last 20 years. I have extensive experience with premature infants-8yr olds. Both typical & neuro divergent 🌈and have worked with families of all different cultures/beliefs. I am well versed in the milestones a child should achieve and as a caregiver I implement age appropriate goals to make sure that I work with each child on all their domains of development including their cognitive, social, language, academic (if applicable) and physical; although safety & FUN is always my #1 priority. Working with children requires patience, empathy, being passionate about it and understanding that every child is different in their own way. 🍃 I believe that good communication between parents and all caregivers is essential so that everyone is on the same page. As a mom myself I understand how difficult it can be specially for first time parents to separate from their child and feel like they are "missing out" or having a sense of guilt kick in and I'm here to make the process easier and provide ease. For parents with multiple children struggling to find alone or couple time, I am there to insure your mind is at ease with regards to your children’s care while you get some much needed girl/self/couples time. I am CPR certified and update it every 2 years. I am a non smoker. I don't do corporal punishment hence I am not a good fit with parents that do.. love pets 🐶🐱 Best of luck to everyone in their search- And Enjoy every moment. Your child will never be the age that they are today & those small moments are precious 💎. Don’t compare them to other children & always notice their strengths 💪 for there is only one of them ❤️❤️ 🌸🌸Note: I homeschool my teen who will at times accompany me and be doing his school work on the computer for the most part. This hasn’t been an issue in the past as can be seen by my reviews but completely understand the parents who are not comfortable despite the transparency.

Stephanie became such a special part of our family during the year she worked with us part time. I especially loved being able to bounce ideas off of her about my older child and find ways to encourage a bond between my two children despite their age difference. She gave me an outside perspective that, as a parent, I sometimes needed, and I truly believe she helped me reconnect with my older child in a way that brought us back to the closeness we had when he was little. She was honest, dependable, and so capable of handling whatever needed to be done when I couldn’t. Having her son around, seeing their relationship was such a beautiful example of the kind of relationship I hope to have with my own children as they grow. She really did become family, and I would recommend her wholeheartedly to any parent, especially one who feels nervous about having a nanny. She is so much more than a nanny.

Monae is amazing! My son never cries when I leave when she comes. He loves to see her and asks about her all week. I am so impressed with the energy she puts into the kids. She plays with the kids. She doesn't watch TV, use the computer, or spend time on the phone. She spends time with your kids. What a sitter!

I’m an experienced childcare professional who has babysat for many families over the years, caring for children from newborns and infants through school age. Because I’ve worked with so many different families and age groups, I’m comfortable stepping into a new household, learning a family’s routines and expectations, and building rapport with children quickly. I previously worked for a babysitting agency providing childcare for families both in their homes and at hotels. This gave me experience working with families I was often meeting for the first time and helped me become very adaptable and confident helping children feel comfortable with a new caregiver. I understand that parents may be leaving their child with someone new, so I make communication, safety, and helping both the child and parents feel at ease a priority. Many of my babysitting relationships have also developed naturally through my professional childcare positions. While working as an after-school educator and coach, several families whose children I worked with began hiring me privately for babysitting. The same happened while I worked at an infant center caring for babies ages 6 weeks to 15 months. I really value that families who saw how I interacted with and cared for their children trusted me to continue caring for them outside of those settings. My broader childcare experience includes working as a full-time nanny, infant teacher, baby nurse at a postpartum resort, ABA therapist, special needs camp counselor, and after-school educator and coach. This has given me experience with everything from feeding, bottles, diapering, soothing, naps, and bedtime routines to play, homework help, outings, and caring for multiple children. I am also EMT certified and previously served for six years as a medic in the U.S. Army. My medical background has provided extensive training in first aid, emergency response, and safety. I’m warm, patient, dependable, and very hands-on with children. One of my strengths is being able to build rapport quickly, which is especially important when babysitting children who may not know me yet. I want children to feel safe and comfortable with me while also having fun, whether we’re playing, reading, doing an activity, or simply following their normal evening routine.

My child care experience expands across all age groups including special needs. I find such joy in being a positive mentor in a child’s life. I love to have fun! I enjoy puzzles, board games, crafts and music. I also love to take walks! It's important to keep kid active! I currently work at Hoboken Catholic Academy as an aide, substitute and stem teacher. Working with kids ages 3-13. I also have over 15 years working with children , as I started working at a nursery at 17 years old. I also have my associates degree in education and am planning to continue school. Being a mom myself (7&16) , i also have the personal experience and know the importance of child safety , and happiness. I am bilingual as I speak both fluent English and Spanish. Would love to teach your little one some Spanish if wanted! I was sitting for a family but they moved away and I have been looking for a new place that I can help keep bellies full and laughter roaring while learning along the way!

I wish I would have found her sooner! It was a pleasure having her as part as the family. Kids loved her. She even kept the house clean , made the girls dinner and took them on walking adventures. We moved to a different state or else we would still have her. Do not hesitate to add on this great addition to your family.

Hi! I'm Georgia, and I'm passionate about caring for kids and families in a thoughtful and creative way. I'm a career nanny—getting to care for children as they change and grow is an incredibly joyful and rewarding experience. I love my job! I have 2.5 years of experience as a pediatric respiratory RN at Seattle Children's Hospital, where I cared for patients ranging from newborns to 18+ years old. After moving to NYC in 2023, I worked as a night nurse for a newborn. I then cared for a 5-year-old boy for a year, and I’ve since been caring for the same child (from 18 months to 3.5 years old) for the last two years. I've also been working as a Studio Manager at a design school for the last two years, but I've decided to care for children full-time now. Quick overview: I live in Park Slope, Brooklyn, and in my free time I like to knit, walk my dog around Prospect Park, and try new coffee shops with my partner. I have a quiet and calm demeanor, but I'm an energetic caregiver. I don't overstimulate kids, but I encourage silliness, play-based exercise, and letting kids be kids. I am comfortable working with children who have medical diagnoses or needs. I think that being outside is great for our mental and physical health, so I like to bring kids outside to play in all weather (as long as it’s safe and they’re enjoying it!). I have a driver's license, but I don’t have a car and don’t feel comfortable driving such precious cargo around NYC. I view my job as a family support role and as you paying me for my time. That means that if there are multiple kids sometimes, I don't charge extra—bring on the playdates! This also means that I'm happy to run errands, help with housework (laundry, tidying, organizing), etc. Just let me know what you need! I'll be available to work 30+ hours per week starting August 31, 2026, but can interview and do part-time work before then. Please note that I prefer not to work weekends (but can absolutely do weekday evening date-night hours), and I would like to keep working for my current nanny family on Friday afternoons from 1:30–6:30 p.m. Please feel free to message me—I’d love to talk!

Georgia has become an essential part of our family. She has started caring for my daughter since before she turned two. Georgia is compassionate, intuitive, and creative. She can always sense our needs before we even articulate it ourselves. As I tornado around our apartment, I sometimes struggle to communicate in what ways I want help/can receive it. Georgia is both intuitive and direct. She is precise with her words and her action follows--a trait shared by all trustworthy people. She can get a sense of your family values and honors them well while bringing her own approach/experience. She is active, loves the outdoors, so does not shy from the sun or rain. She turns a rainy day into a puddle adventure. She has literally drawn treasure maps to get my daughter out and about. She is a blessing to our family. As our daughter enters pre-school, we don't need as many hours with her, but we intend to maintain their connection. Georgia will give your child steady, loving, quiet care, and give you a peace of mind.

Hello, my name is Kristen! Hi there! My name is Kristen, and I’m a college graduate with over 11 years of hands-on babysitting experience. I’ve cared for children of all ages—from infants to pre-teens—and truly love creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for kids to grow and explore. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of child development, communication, and patience, and I’m always happy to help with homework, crafts, outdoor play, and bedtime routines. I’m also comfortable with light meal prep, basic household tasks, and caring for pets if needed. Parents have often described me as reliable, responsible, and genuinely caring. Whether you need an occasional sitter or regular help, I’d love the chance to support your family! Fun fact: I am originally from California and spent a 6 of years volunteering at Millbrae Nursery School where I attended as a child in the Bay Area. I can't wait to meet your family!

Hi, I'm Seun! Fair warning — if you hire me, there's a good chance your kitchen may become a culinary lab. We once recreated edible dirt using crushed Oreos and gummy worms, and it was a hit. I've been working with children since high school and have loved every moment of it. I believe kids see the world with a curiosity and wonder that is truly special, and I feel privileged to play a role in their growth into their own autonomous selves. This work has taught me the rewards of being present, the value of play, and the power of creativity — lessons I carry with me every day. I believe the best moments with children happen when you lean into their interest, and I've built my entire approach around that idea. I've been working with children since high school — starting with families of teachers and growing through word-of-mouth ever since. I'm experienced with toddlers through preteens, comfortable with multiples, and tend to build long-term relationships with the families I work with. Day-to-day I can help with morning and nighttime routines, meal prep, homework, driving to activities, and keeping kids engaged with screen-free games, outdoor play, and playdates. I'm currently in medical school on a scholar's Year for research, which means I bring a clinical understanding of child safety, health, and development to every family I work with — and I have genuine flexibility in my schedule for the foreseeable year. I also volunteer as a tutor supporting students from elementary school through the college application process. I'm available to start immediately and would love to meet your family. Feel free to reach out!

🌿 About Me I am originally from the beautiful island of St. Lucia and love returning whenever I can. Being outdoors is one of my greatest joys—I enjoy gardening, planting, and making the most of fresh air. 👩👧 Family & Background I’m a proud parent of two children who graduated from Rutgers University (New Brunswick). My passion for creativity inspired me to pursue studies in Child Development at Penn Foster, though I had to defer my certification for personal reasons. 🎨 Childcare Approach As a childcare provider, I enjoy sharing my love of nature, creativity, and art with children. I believe in creating a fun, enriching environment where kids can learn, explore, and grow. 🍼 Experience Since 2021, I have worked as a nanny for three families, caring for children ranging in age from 5 months to 5 years old. Most recently, in 2025, I cared for a 5‑month‑old, providing attentive supervision, preparing light snacks, and assisting with light housekeeping. These experiences have strengthened my ability to adapt to different family needs while ensuring children feel safe, loved, and engaged. I look forward to meeting your family and providing reliable, caring support for your little ones!
