Hello! I live in Chicago and have a full-time job during the week as a Delivery Consultant for a software company. I don't have any children of my own, but love being around children of all ages watching them react to new things and explore the world. I consider myself to be optimistic, friendly, energetic, creative, and firm when necessary. Outside of my full time job, I avoid screen time as much as possible. I much prefer to be out doing new things - love the arts, baking/cooking, and being active. I babysat regularly in high school and college - ages from infant to elementary. While in high school I volunteered at a local fitness center in the day care center, caring for children as their parents used the gym. I participated in Big Brothers/Big Sisters in college and enjoyed mentoring children in underserved communities. I have three young nieces and a nephew that live out of state. I have many years of experience with children in a wide range of settings, including many years of babysitting for families in their homes, working as a summer camp counselor, as an assistant teacher in a daycare, and volunteering in two elementary schools.
