I used to work for community centers in the summer with kids the age of 5 to 13. I have done that for two summers and few months for the school year. I am a certified educational assistant I work with APS with special ed pre-k. Before that I worked with two different classes of first graders. I have baby say so many cousins of mine since when they were first born. I love to work around kids I work with them on a daily base. I am CPR certified I have been trained in NVCI training (nonviolent crisis intervention) which is never necessary while baby sitting just in my filed. Kids are the light of my life and they make me happy and they're a joy to be around.

Hello! My name is Selena. I worked in early childhood education for a year and a half before transferring to become a behavior technician. I started as a float teacher at my previous preschool, and made my way up to lead teacher, and then eventually curriculum coordinator. I worked every classroom at that school from infants all the way until age 5. Working at a school, I was exposed to many challenges including behavioral issues and developmentally delayed children. I also come from a family with two special needs siblings. I spent some time working as an RBT, which allowed me to work one on one with clients on different levels of the autism spectrum. At my current job, I am a site supervisor for an after school program at a charter school in Rio Rancho. My job includes overseeing instructors, homework help, distributing meals for our food program, getting the children signed in and out, and providing fun activities for the children to do.
