Hello! I have 5+ years of experience in childcare. Every one of my long term jobs have been with children ranging from infants to early teens. Starting with my position as a Child-life CD1 at UNM children’s hospital. I guided children through medical procedures they’d experience and explain it in age- appropriate ways while distracted them with interactive play. I’ve had a few jobs after this one where I worked in the childcare part of certain businesses. (The Village Motherhood Co, Burn Boot Camp) Shortly after I worked for personal families around Albuquerque and had nannied 4 month old till she was 1 year. I manage feedings,diapers,nap schedules,etc. Prior to the infant room I worked in the 3 year old room. Assisted with potty training, a lot of outdoor play, fine motor skills, etc. I am also first aid and CPR certified!
